None the less I will rank that one.

Gary Jules did a cover that was used in Gears of War, Tears for Fears is the original.  The Gary Jules cover has a sadder tone, but the original is a better song IMO.

That’s not a particularly useful number.  Government income will increase at roughly the same rate as economic growth even with no changes in tax structure.  As long as an economy is growing you should be setting a new record for government income every year.  At the same time government spending will go up at approximately inflation * population growth just to keep the same services in place, so again spending will set new records every year.

I don't have much time for replies but I highly dissagree. The democrats whole premise is that revenue will go down because of tax cuts and it is the exact opposite. And you say the same thing but say it is because of population. If tax cuts were hurting then revenue should be going down every year. By the way, the MSM completely ignored the record revenue and talked about corperate taxes being too low.

Umm, no it wouldn’t. Like I said tax revenue is directly linked to economic growth, and as long as you have a new currency entering the economy and a growing population the economy and tax revenue will grow. Cutting taxes slows the rate at which it grows, and if the cuts are big enough it will even shrink tax revenue for a time so you do in fact end up with fewer tax dollars.

There are two common political lies reguarding taxes and spending. Both promise you something for nothing, but in different ways.  The left will promise you they can’t spend money and make it back in increased economic activity.  The right will promise they can lower taxes and make up the money in economic activity.  The truth is that while both do increase economic activity neither creates enough economic activity to pay for the cuts/spending. The result is always a deficit budget.

Why do Republicans want to run deficit budgets?  Easy, it’s a way of taking money out of middle class pockets and giving it to their wealthy friends. First they cut taxes to their rich friends, putting more money in their pockets. This results in deficit budgets forcing government to borrow money to pay its bills.  Who does it borrow money from? You guessed it the same rich friends who just got a tax cut.

So, instead of paying taxes these rich individuals make a profit lending government that same money.  At some point this loan needs to be paid back with interest, depending on how long it takes it may be 2X or more what was originally spent.  It’s the middle class that ends up paying for all of this and it’s the Republicans rich friends that receive all the extra cash the middle class is forced to pay.

    • I doubt very many EQ2 players are even remotely interested in AoC, the game styles are completely different.  Those that do give AoC a look will be running back home pretty quick, it doesn’t have much to offer an MMO veteran.  The only chance I see AoC having is picking up a big console crow where there isn’t much in the way of MMO competition.

What really matters is new spending/new cuts and new taxes/nee tax cuts.  Republicans like to increase spending on some of the largest items in the US budget, and only ever support cuts to relatively minor budget items.  This will always end up in greater increases in spending. They also tend to cut taxes to the highest income earners, which tends to slow the rate at which government income grows.  The combination of these two things is a recipe for debt debt debt, and we have seen precisely that from the republican party since Reagan first took office.

Republicans simply can’t win in this upcoming election, they have f***** up too badly.   BTW US troop deaths have been going up since Jan and are ~50 per month, so “going better” isn’t exactly the same thing as “going well”.

You should be asking under which republican congress spending was cut since congress contols the money. Look at the bloated farm bill congress just passed. The dems are starting early and will probably have enough vote to override a veto. Isn't that special. You haven't began to see how much our government is able to spend.

The president prepares the budget request, while congress may add or remove items the budget request makes up most of the final budget.  The farm bill still needed presidential support to pass, and is a drop in the bucket compared to what goes into the presidents budget request.

Besides being a little WTF, it turns out this slogan is already used by a drug used to treat depression.  Yup the economy is doing fine, no depression here lol.  It also treats “generalized anxiety disorder, social anxiety disorder, and panic disorder in adults”

Side effects of the drug (Effexor) include nausea, apathy, constipation, fatigue, vertigo, sexual dysfunction, sweating, memory loss, and "electric shock-like sensations also called 'brain zaps.”
