I am not sure if I feel as strongly as some, but I tried AoC and was disappointed. Funcom is in a bad spot - no two ways about it. As with most things, us litle people speak with our money. All of the cancelled subscriptions should be sending a message to Funcom and possibly to other upcoming MMOs.
I am slightly concerned after stopping by my local Gamestop store. I think the two workers there had a combined total IQ less than an ant. I had to explain to them what the game, Warhammer Online, was and when it came out. They kept trying to get me to preorder WoTLK. They finally located it and were happy to take my money to reserve it. When I asked how I would get my early play code, they just stared blankly at me. I told them normally, it is sent via email or there is a hard copy. Again....blank stares. Finally, they took my email address after calling another store, I guess I am just curious about the delivery of the code - it is via email, correct?
