your username and pass for AoC game isn't used for the forums.
Btw, the reason why FC has two separate logins for the game and the forums is because in Anarchy Online some people got hacked by using their game username and password to login into the forums. I don't remember the details but I think it was done by using the misspelled domain name of official forums. So FC decided to separate two logins and make them independent to make sure it doesn't happen in the future.
Since I have no official forum access, I decided to post here. Maybe I am not the only one who has this issue.
After the update on Saturday, I started having weird lag spikes. When I login, everything is normal. I get around 46-47 ping and 20-30 fps depending on the area. As soon as I enter the first fight, I get a lag spike and ping goes up to 3-4k. Right after the fight, it drops back to normal. Then it starts happening on the regular intervals even when I don't do anything. The ping sometimes went to almost 10k. After I relog, the same thing until I start the very first fight.
I thought the issue might be with my network since I have 802.11N but I loaded Eve and stayed connected without lag during a few hours.

I've never seen any either. Is that what those 5 bubbles are for on the lower left side of the screen? I just figured I was doing something wrong.
Yes.

Strange. I got them on my assassin. One thing to note though is they decay kind of fast and if you don't use the ability to consume them, forgot the name, they are gone.

So I guess there's 3, maybe 4, types of MMOs as far as instancing is concerned?
1. Private/small group instances - DDO, Hellgate, Guild Wars
2. Zoned player-count limited instances - Tabula Rasa, AoC
3. Single open world, group adventure instances - WoW, LOTRO, DAoC
4. Single open world, zero instances - are there any? (EVE?)
2. EQ2. I remember Commonlands were so full there was 2-3 instances of them going on at the same time.
