I filed an appeal against a gold seller yesterday and about 30 minutes later, there was a message that popped up that said something about them getting rid of that person. The message was in a RP style so I'm not sure exactly what they did. Banned the account presumably.

For reference, are you playing destruction or order?
** Well, as mentioned before, I can never get PvP to pop in my limited playing time, so if I could experience the PvP part I would. lol. I've tried both Des and Order, but only in the dwarf / greeny world. When the servers are finally back up I will try some of the others. **
By that logic I guess I'm qualified to write a review of how a Boeing 747 flies, even though I've never flown an airplane in my life. I've ridden in one, but the pilots for some reason have never let me fly the plane although if I could experience the piloting part I would.
Warrior Priest to level 16 - Really liking this class so far. Survivability in Tier 2 scenarios goes down a little, but is still good. Damage output is a little weak for my tastes, but still decent.
At level 16 I came upon a level 14 zealot 1v1 and could not come close to killing him, although he barely scratched me too. At 2 levels above him, I should have been able to do more damage than I did with a 27dps weapon. On the plus side of that encounter, a marauder came to help him out and also couldn't do much damage to me, although I was a few levels higher than him too. When the level 19 chosen headed my way too, I figured I better leave that party. I bet I could have killed the level 19 chosen 1v1 given enough time though. It just would have taken a while.
Shadow Warrior to level 10 - I set my key bindings up so I could kite really well and I was psyched when in the elf T1 scenarios I could get like 50-60 kills with high damage output and usually only die 2-4 times (levels 7-9). I'd usually die to witch elves who would appear behind me, but even then I could get away sometimes by getting just far enough away and snaring them (didn't have the aoe snare at the time).
The big letdown came when I went over to the Empire scenario. I got about 1/3 of the kills and died 33% more. I realized it was because there were very few if any tanks in the elf scenarios and the Empire scenarios were full of them. And also the healers were either more competent or they had more time because it took longer to kill the tanks (strongly suspect the 2nd choice).
I absolutely love the knockback morale ability. It's so much fun hitting people that have full health with 1 shot and knocking them over a cliff and they die. So disappointing when they just barely don't go over the cliff though. So technically there can be 1-shot kills in WAR on occasion.
Ironbreaker to level 9 - Despite being a dwarf, I really like this class for it's survivability and pretty good damage output. The shield knockdown is fun. I don't think I could use a 2handed weapon because I'd miss that knockdown too much. Kind of weird that a lot of the best damage abilities are DOTs.
I haven't tested it much, but I can't seem to block people from moving via collision detection with this class. Is this some kind of weird Mythic humor thing because they figure that people can just jump over dwarves, a bug, or my imagination? Whatever it is, I want a human tank.

Regardless of the OP's post I am seeing more negativity towards WAR than I thought I would see......I remember hearing in beta how this game was so much better than anything on the planet and how the RVR alone would draw in millions of players (Though it never was that successful in DAoC)........While so many are just writing off each and everyone of these guys eventually you have to take notice that alot of people are not all that thrilled with this game.......
And a lot of people are thrilled with the game. So that tells you what? People have different opinions and like different things? No offense, but that's not exactly a major news flash.
But I do agree with you on one point. I see more negativity towards the game than I thought there would be after playing it myself. I think it's a very fun game, but others' opinions are colored by their different experiences, expectations, and preferences. I see far more posts of people that like the game than dislike it though.

Funcom is down over 80% since it's high in April. It is down over 50% since it announced it's second quarter earnings on August 14. The stock market is down about 2% since April, and is basically Even since August 14th (even with 2 really bad days this week).
Despite the really bad day this week that got so much media attention, the overall stock market has not moved much this year.
The CFO in August, and now a co-founder, have both bailed on the company. The stock has not had a positive stock day since it released it's 2nd quarter numbers in August. The stock has had probably 10-15 days where it declined more than 10% in a day. The dow has had 1 day where it dropped 4%
The overall stock market has very little to do with the plunge, or severity of the plunge in Funcom's stock. The initial plunge in May/June was because players were reporting concerns about the game despite it's 'great' launch. This gave the investor's a clue that the game wasn't going to succeed. The Aug 14 report just confirmed it to those who don't follow forums, or didn't believe the severity of the problems reported by players.
The stock is at rock bottom right now. It can't go below $7 unless it reports bankruptcy, or a severe drop in cash-on-hand, which it won't do until November 15th, at which time the stock will get pummeled again. If you want to figure out the price of the stock after November 15th.. just take their reported cash-on-hand and divide by 4. If they report they still have 16M cash(my guess), then the stock price will drop to 4.
At this point, revenues and subscribers are irrelevant to the price of Funcom stock. Cash Assets mean everything. Investors have fully devalued the AOC franchise down to 0.. the only thing holding the stock at 8 is the uncertainty of how much cash funcom still has.
Thank you for saving me from all that typing you did.
Funcom stock has been taking a strong nosedive since June 16, even before AoC's release (down ~83%). If the economy in general was doing as badly as Funcom stock, you'd be seeing stockbrokers jumping from buildings like it was 1929. The arguement that the stock is only or mostly doing poorly because of the economy is absolutely ridiculous and I can only interpret it as intentionally misleading.
