  • May be old news but I ran across a post that pointed to some interesting news. Many thanks to Obee...

    "According to their Linkedln profiles, both Helios and Rogue_5 are no longer employed at SOE. Rogue_5 is at Virgil Games, and Helios is unemployed.

    End of an era and a nightmare. Frankly, watching Smed BS his way out of this embarrassment will be quite enjoyable.

    And well, its also the end of Bioware's "Not telling" routine. Got damn tired of that skit.

    As for KOTOR, I don't expect sandbox but I also don't expect a half baked product either. Will be interesting to see what gets revealed now that there is no reason for secrecy.

    /agree about refusing to play any possible SOE run Star Wars game at this point.

    When I dole out an assignment that is a surefire success and the person assigned to it fails (and in SOE's case - repeatedly) - I make damn sure that they don't get another chance. Mind boggling, really. They could have made SWG a flash based greeting card game and it still could have been one of the top mmo's.

    Well, that and a buck will get you a cup of coffee.  Don't go to one of those coffee shops though, they have horrible coffee.  Find a local diner, they usually have pretty good coffee.

    Then again, with the anger you exhibit, maybe you should cut down on caffeine.  You won't find a decent cup of decaff coffee, so don't waste your time looking.  They try god bless 'em, but decaff is just lacking in flavor.

     

     

     

    A buck? God I miss the USA. Diner coffee runs me 3.50 here.

    You know its a sign of the times when Starbucks closes like 600 stores. Pretty soon, we will all be back to office joe in a foam cup.
