I don't play on the EU servers, and I get conflicting reports. I know the American servers have seen a surge in players over the past year or so, so logically EU might be doing better now too. But I don't know.
However, I did come across this trial offer for the EU servers:
http://eu.cityofheroes.com/keysender/pcadvisor/?tok=65A57414559CFDF7F58288E76517F2A0939FA984BD7F73451I'd suggest maybe starting up a trial just to see what the population is like at the time of day you play. Then you can tell for yourself.
Nice idea. ^^ Thanks alot. I'll check.

Nope. I've played almost all mmos from gamelist on MMORPG.COM and some that aren't on list. But yes, I think that WoW is best mmo.
Ok so if WoW is the best...go away and play that and stop bugging us here about how much you love WoW and hate LOTRO! geebus
Omg. Who let 10-years old kid to keyboard? Who said I love WoW and who said that I hate? And I'd rather think who is geebus. Learn to read, then come back.
You should try asking COH staff, or look in FAQ.
I find it impossible to delete your character by COH staff. Are you sure that you didn't delete your characters?

I dont know if Lotro was your first mmo or not but many mmo's out right now have expansions where you have to buy them for the premium content. Monthly updates usually pale in comparison content wise when it comes to paid expansions. Its the way business works and at the same time its a great way to get new and old players to come back and try out the game because of the new advertising. On top of that its a great way to ensure that the current existing player-base stays interested in the game.
I've played a lot of mmorpgs. I've beta-tested many.
I know that NOW many mmorpgs have many paid expansions, but I still think that one year is too soon.
If the new expansion is worth the money, I am ready to pay for it, be it 1 year or 6 months since launch. If the game is crappy I will not bother waste time on it, be it free with expansions.
So the question goes back to you. Do you feel like taking a look inside the Turbine version of Mines of Moria. I do, and I am willing to pay for all 3 copies of LOTRo in my family. That way we can go into Moria together.
Maybe it's just because I've just beta-tested this game.
How many hours per day do you play MMORPGs?
