What he also stated was the difficulty in coming to that decision and the reasoning the WAR team used to justify it. He presented everything in a clear manner and didn't try to hide anything.
My question is why do people refuse to take this at face value? Why does there always have to be some ulterior motive behind every decision? I refuse to believe that Mythic is trying to pull a trick on it's WAR following. I also don't believe that this means WAR is somehow underdeveloped at this point. Mark stated that they don't have enough time to include everything they want to for release. They want to include a TON of stuff. Turns out they can only include a LOT of stuff in a reasonable time frame. A lot of fun stuff at that.
If you take the decision and reasoning for it at face value, extending the simple courtesy of not questioning their moral integrity without having reason to do so, this doesn't look at all like something terrible. Yes, it's unfortunate. If anyone tells you they prefer having the classes and cities removed, they are most likely lying to you or themselves. We would all like to have everything in, but if the people who work on the game every single day of their lives say it will be better this way, it's very likely that it will be better this way.
In conclusion, cut them some slack. They are just people making a cool game. They are not "out to get you" or "screw you out of money". They are taking advantage of capitalism by doing their best to create a product that brings value to the public (and cash commensurate to that value).
I completely agree, you have taken the words out of my head.

This thread is not needed and does apsolutely nothing. Also its beta "testers" not "players".
actually your post is not needed. If not for the testers this game wouldnt be anything great at all. They were the ones telling mythic about the four classes and what they lacked. And they were theo nes who wanted more RvR focus. So yes i would eventually posted something like his in time because we need beta testers to tell mythic how it is and how it should be. Good Post Arcterus
We all know about what has been released lately. I personally think it isint so bad and could turn out very well for them.
Most likely the cities will be there not some void. We wont know until launch so right now its all a bunch a speculations. We will see, but im pretty sure they will be sealed off or un siegable.

Each beta phase is 1 month? If so that would put in line for mid August.
Dunno, makes sense tho, in one month from that its release, also I have a question, my beta account says Applied, does that mean I'm in beta or does that mean I just signed up for it?
It means uve appplied so u sent in your request. You hevent been *accepted*.
