Dude, the game is 2+ months old. It's not rushing if you reach max level by now. Besides which, everyone plays at their our pace. There is no valid speed to play a game. You play as often and as much as you like.
The fact that there is no end game content is Funcom's fault not the player's. Funcom didn't add the content. Whether or not the player took 2 days to reach max level or 2 months makes no difference. The fact of the matter is that the end game content was missing then and is still missing now and it will be missing when you reach level 80. Then you'll come back to these forums and complain about lack of content and I will link this post for you.

Beta testing? You really think most of the people in any Beta are there to test?? They want the game for free (and the edge that come with it), that's for sure. They don't want anything to do with writing bug reports... Beta testing has clearly become a means of increasing the hype in MMOGs.
As for AoC, it's clear its releasing for PC as unfinished as it was, was really the Beta testing for the XBox 360. Alll the people who spent their money on the unfinished product are actually beta "testing" AoC for when it launches in the Xbox 360...
To be fair, the bugs, exploits and various other problems were posted extensively on the beta forums. Funcom never bothered to fix them. What happened was that right before the game went live, most of the bug fixes were geared towards Tortage and the first 20 levels.
We asked about city building and end game content and were told that the internal team has a client with all end-game features working and they are having a blast. Apparently the closed beta testers had a client a few versions older than the internal testers and the Fileplanet open beta testers had a client a few versions older than the closed beta testers. The tech testers were used once a month for 3 hours or so to download a 15GB file and stress test a particular aspect of the game. The whole beta test was a travesty of epic proportions. Very often the bug report tool didn't work and most of our posts on the forums went ignored completely by the devs.
Yes, there are a lot of people who were in the beta just to play the game. However, a lot of people actually took their time to make articulate posts outlining the various glaring problems with the game. Those posts went completely ignored by the development team who continued to fix up Tortage. Basically the whole thing was like a scam.

Well, its there job to test everything before release, why wasn't all this crap found, reported and fixed allready?
Too many people wanting to play the game before anyone else instead of actaully testing the bloody thing? me thinks.
The bug report tool was broken...

Just a simple question; are companies aloud to literally put anything on their boxes, whether or not they are in the actual product? If so I'm going to become a billionaire. All I need is Photoshop and an EBgames willing to sell my shi---, I uhhh mean awesome products.
If you haven't noticed I'm starting to grow quite cynical of this game quite fast.... in all honesty, it isn't the game; it is more or less the company running this game. The game is decent as is, but nothing that it was made up to be.
Am I the only one who is sick and tired of being treated like a dumb piece of meat when it comes to buying entertainment products... in this case AoC, but that is a completely different subject. Honestly... in the beginning of my posting days I was planning on getting this game day 1... then it went to wait a month... and now I will make sure to never purchase a product created by FC in my life. You guys should realize that I was a good hopeful of this game like many others on these forums, even more so than probably many of them. I actually almost went out of my way to buy a completely new computer for this (thank God I stuck out of that and decided to wait unlike others).
Please... just how the hell are they aloud to deliberately lie like they are doing? Aren't there laws against this? Was AO really that successful to give them enough money to bribe the entire f ' ing entertainment industry? How has nobody been able to figure this out before launch to warn people of buying this...?
As you can tell I am a little disgruntled... I will further my thoughts and elaborate further a little bit later. Just answer my current questions if possible.
There are laws against it and technically companies can't put just anything on the box. Good luck doing anything about it though. Most people seem to think that it's silly starting a class action lawsuit against video game companies. I mean no one ever sues cell phone service providers and utility providers, right?

AoC is meant to be 18+ & 43% of Xfire users are aged 12-17, so why is it supposed to be relevant?
Just like every single GTA game was meant to be 18+...
