  • honestly, what is the fucking point of these threads? YOU are the only person who can decide the verdicT, dipshit. 50$ is a small enough sum of money to buy and try. if you have a computer that can run todays games, then you can afford another $50. you are always going to get two sides of the spectrum. how have you not realized this yet?

  • The only role a girl fills in an online environment, in my opinion, is to throw every other guy out of whack and make themselves act like idiots, and give away shit that they never wanted to give in the first place. You can only take the high road for so long. Yes, shes probably at fat troll, but there is always the glimmer of hope that it could turn into something better, like a supermodel. oh yeah, and cyb0r.

     

    *EDIT* I DO undertand that not all female gamers are fat trolls. If you are fat, though, and don't like being called fat, then do something about it. It's no ones fault but your own.

  • i agree with the above poster on the order tanking classes. in MMO's,  typically have my mains as classes that server a purpose other than DPS, IE healers, tanks or hybrids.

    i dont think the difference in sides is going to be too negligible, as there are always people who are going to play good, always people who are gonna play evil, and always gonna be people who join the underdogs. im going order. i like the idea of being a "Champion of Light", but thats just me. all in all, this post gave nothing to this thread, and for that i am sorry =)

  • screw balance. a game cannot be properly balanced. all that ends up happening is a long circle of nerfs and buffs. and by circle i mean never ending, because not everyone will be satisfied.

    my thought process is coming from a recent stint with the Civ games, most notably Revolution. Each class has stupidly strong bonuses, but in the light of other classes having bonuses, it makes for pretty fair fights.

    id like to see someone try something like this in an mmo. i know, 2 different games, apples and oranges blah blah blah, im just voicing my opinion.

     

    *EDIT*  and for future reference Pro MMO'er = socially defunct. you shouldn't have to look forward to "farming" and "grinding" for shit in game. thats the sign of a *gasp* BORING game. the meat of the game should be fun, and should not be referred to with such derogatory terms as mentioned before, thus proving that it is not fun, which is why you should be playing in the first place.
