Might be, but I haven't heard of it, you'd be best not starting on it though, there will be too much closed content.
You'd easily catch up on an established server, once you're at the top you'd have forever to get the gear you want.
I didn't even consider that. Thanks for the tip, that's pretty important. That said, I wonder which has the best population for low levelers.
I heard there may be a fresh server without transfers out there. Anyone know what it is?
I think the only way for me to get back into the game is with a fresh start.
Just curious to know what this game looks like now in open-beta, compared to a month and a half ago, when I was in closed beta.
So could people with nice rigs post some shots please?![]()
I want to know how the graphics are shaping up, especially with licensed.

Has there ever been a game that survived by 'pushing' the graphic limits?
I personally like the colorful feel of WOW. Everything in AoC looks just bland and brown. Yes, I can see the shadow move when I wiggle my little toe, but from 15 feet away, every single player looks like they are covered in brown poo.
The other issue is animations. I guess because wow is more cartoony, the animations seem smother and more lifelike. In AoC and other high end games.. they never seem to get character movement right. In AoC, you don't even look right walking.
You can push the same art direction but with a stronger technology sense. More detail, more polys, higher texture resolutions. Basically bring the world up to an even higher point all alround.
Better graphics does NOT mean going like everybody else is (with the brown filter and color pallette consisting of brown and gray).

They have updated the engine and it will be available to everybody in WOTLK. Some players have already unlocked it in their config files.
I believe, like what they did with TBC, the updates (or better looking) features is only present with the new content, not an update to their total package. And even if it did, it's very very mild.
It would be cool to see something as dramatic as what we've seen from games like DAOC.
