I actually liked the change so that they could concentrate the battle on the 2 major cities. There are 2 fortresses as well. It makes a lot more sense to me to have the concentration focused on just the 2 so that everyone will participate in these and not fly around wondering where the fight is.
No problems with fights in RvR with me, I had instant scenario pops all through the night into the next day yesterday which was impressive. They are further tweaking ORVR as well next patch which should help move people into that more.
I agree. I'm really impressed at the rate they are moving squishing bugs and fixing things. Played for a few hours yesterday and the CTD was totally gone for me which annoyed me a ton when I first started. RvR was smooth as well.
I like the need only for people who can use as well in scenarios was a great change. They are tweaking ORVR next too, and hopefully more server imbalance tweaks.
On the Oceanic front, they have Oceanic based servers which WoW hasn't been able to do but what's impressive is after a week of comments on the forums they moved the maintenance back so Oceanic players can play prime time. Now that's awesome customer care.
It's nice to have devs that listen.....
Solid game and very good launch. I'm not surprised that this number at all. As usual the trolls will find something negative to say but hey they are trolls that what they do, forum jump and doomsay. Just leave them be and feel sorry for them.
Meanwhile a couple of old guildies from WoW just got into WAR and they love the PVP, so there is a nice positive influx of players from word of mouth.
I'll call it a 9.0 simply because you can level in PvP. No other fantasy MMO to date that I've played have got that right yet. That combined with the fact that it's tons of fun and has collision detection. Sure it has some bugs to iron out but other MMOs that launched had way way more.
So far I love the game.
That would be cool but since I would just turn it off in RvR battles to help lag it won't matter to me :P
