• • need help.. patcher won't run

  • Hello,

      I played the game a while back. I believe the game was still in closed beta. I played right before they put in the stamina system. Then my computer got struck by lightning and had to get a new computer. I got me the new computer. Downloaded the game and installed it. Now the patcher won't run. It loads up fine but it always says try again later. Like it is having trouble connecting. I have a router is their a specific port I need to open up for the game or anything like that?

  • I have played many MMOs and many free to play MMOs. I thought I would give this one a chance, but I have read two different views on the item shop. i have read some reviews which say that it is necessary to buy things from the item shop and other reviews that says you can play without it. Can your character advance without using items from the item shop?  I was just currious, before i waste 4 hours of my life downloading it.

      Yeah I don't understand what is going on every other MMO I play, WoW, Sword of the New World, Requiem, Cabal, Dream of Mirror I can run at full settings it is quite frustrating, I tried to disable superfetch and windows search with no luck, only thing that makes it run smooth is shutting off every video setting.. Oh well I can still play but its just jerky..

  • I am also having performance issues, how do i shut off all of that crap? I have 5 gigs of ram, 2.2 quad core processor and a 256MB Geforce 9 series video card. Not the greatest card but I can run Requiem at full settings with now lag at all.. I have my Nvidia control panel set up for performance instead of quality and I still lag unless I shut all of the settings off.  Any idea how I can shut off that stuff superfetch etc.

      I have been interested in this game for a while and just now found a download for it on gamershell.com and I made an account with ubisoft many moons ago to play this game but I could never find the download. I finally did and I must say this game looks quite interesting. Is it fun? I was also wondering if any of the servers were still up and running. My final question is this; is the game just PvP or is there PvE as well?
