After having played both Vanguard and Wow I can truly say there is no comparison.
None, nada, ninguno, zip, zilch.
In Vanguard I wasted so much time and money and it was not worth it. I wouldn't play the game if it was made free which knowing Sony I know that to be most improbable.
As for WoW, I had made a 60 Druid over 3 and a half yrs back then left due to the game being so unbalanced. I recently returned and they have changed the game a lot where now it's different in that aspect. But it's still a grind fest when it comes to getting items from creatures.
Looking forward to new expansion.
Hey, guys,
Regarding the new expansion I have read many different things that will happen once it starts. One of them is you can't use flight until you hit 68 or 70. We can speculate and guess 'til the game arrives but, does anyone know what the truth is to this?
Also, I see where the word "rune" comes into play a lot with the new class. What exactly is "rune' when it comes to the new class?
If the rule about needing to hit level 68-70 in order to use flight mounts is true I think it's not a good idea. Why should we have to wait when we've been thru' this in BC? I read where some said Blizz wants us to fully explore the lands they've worked so hard to make.
Again, this is dumb. We can fully explore every inch of the lands once we're there. Neither the lands nor us are going anywhere. They will be there so a very long time to come. Also we don't need to be on foot to explore the zones.
Thanks for your input.
But wth?
I went to check out the one who gives you the mastery of elixirs which is my main source of income. But this guy is asking for a lot, a whole lot. He wants me to go to the caverns of time and obtain 10 essences of something plus he wants 5 elixirs of major defense, 5 of major agility and 5 of mastery. these are all top level elixirs he wants.
Already it's lopsized. I make it a habit never to do any quest where I have to pay gold or anything for XP or reputation. I work to make gold not give it away.
I don't recall seeing the same type request for transmuation or potions. I know, I'm cheap as hell.
Anyway, thanks for the info.
Once you hit around the top level in Alchemy you are given a choice to take Potions, Elixirs or Transmutations, but only one of them the quests say.
Right now at 375 /375 which is the top level in Alchemy I can make all three of the above .
1. If you choose to go one of the 3 routes offered can you still make the other 2?
2. What's the incentive of taking one of the 3? What does it offer taking one of the 3? Why not stay the way you are now?
I haven't chosen any of the 3 but if I did I would probably go the Elixir route as this has been my main source of income. BUt potions are needed for healing and mana which is also important.
Thanks for any help.
When is the Lich King expansion coming out live?
I checked the games forums but I couldn't find the date.
Thanks
