  • That was my biggest problem with WAR. It's fun. Like a FPS fun not a mmo fun. But is kinda like that ladder.  We'll prolly get flamed for the truth though!

    Honestly this is one of the best thing WoW has done in years and wouldnt mind this type of security added to all mmo's. No more worries about your account being hacked if you buy one of those.

    - Scenarios (Gonna be tired of them by lvl 40) Then dont do them, do some real rvr.

    Have I missed anything, I mean is there really anything else to do, open world RvR is just like guild sieging, so basically this game has empty end game just like the rest of them. If you don't have a guild, don't plan on seeing good end game because there's not. No competition, nothing, and in the end, they may come out with some type of updates, but I'll be still playing Warhammer because I have a guild, I don't know about u guys, nothing really in this game besides guild competition.

    No competition? Are you nuts? Order vs Chaos! There will always be competition unless one side suddenly never logs into the game for some reason lol and I dont get what you mean about guild competition, this isnt AoC, this is WAR and its about order vs chaos.. good vs evil.. RVfreakinR! not guild vs guild. Sounds like you want to play a game like WoW or something.. where once you work your ass off to get max level an good gear they slap you in the face with some retarded expantion and make you grind all over again for levels and gear. Personaly I hate that crap. If I wanted to grind again id make a new toon to level up. Annoys the hell out of me they take your hard earned toon and make him suck all over again. WAR does have end game, its called RVR! Thats always what the game has been about. That fact has never been hidden. No one has any right to complain about lack of anything else beyond rvr since you go into the game knowing what its about. Thats like playing hello kitty online an then complaining you cant decapitate fellow players and drink thier blood.

     

     

    Man worse fanboi response ever.  Crafting is a major end game in MMO's. Maybe people like making things they use on the battlefield.   Pesonally being in closed beta. I do feel the end game isn't going to keep me anymore interested than something like TF2 or COD4  but ithey are  free to play.  Fun to play but not deep. All depends what you are looking for.

  • This post is meant to be constructive on the subject of WoW and WAR

    I'm not supporting what all the OP said but WoW and Warhammer are two different games.

     

    It really comes down to this. If you want a true pvp based game where it's more about how you play than the gear you have warhammer is great.

     

    WoW  "addicts" its about achievement.  Wow is huge time sink, high achievements. 

     

    Personally I love WAR but it plays more like a FPS feeling in the sense of the playing field is pretty even and you dont have to grind anything really.  This is NOT what I want from a MMO so I stick to WoW cause believe it or not its a good feeling to work towards getting the rep for that one epic you want and finally getting it. High acheivement factor is what keeps millions grinding away.

    
    WAR I go in and just have fun. No worries about grinding or anything else. But WAR gives me almost the same feeling I get playing COD4. Gameplay isnt the same but very skill based.  I dont feel like I achieved anything after logging out of WAR over the past months besides war. Doesnt mean its a bad game at all. Just leaves me feeling like i played COD4. Heck yea I was just owning it. 

    In conclusion so I dont get flamed. WAR is a great game for some.  And WoW is a great game for some. Just depends what you look for in a mmo.  Grinding isnt fun and we all know that, but its actually getting what you grind for that makes it rewarding and some may like this and some may not but I dont think its a reason to  get into a big flame war and start saying things about the fans of either games that just simply isnt true.
