Early SWG was easily the most fun I've ever had in a video game, period. I played from launch until Jump to Lightspeed. I came back a few years later (on a trial) and wanted to personally hunt down the developers and murder them for ruining such an amazing game. The problem with us people who played early SWG is that we were spoiled by it. It had everything, and these new games (that are WoW clones) have absolutely nothing in comparison.
I agree wholeheartedly with the OP and I've done the same thing in the past week... :( If you find a game to play OP, PLEASE let me know. I'd like to try it.
I've tried FFXI lately and that blew. Was thinking about getting into PSU as well... We'll see. Thanks all. :)
No one else?
I recently bought a 360 receiver for my PC. Normally 20 bucks, bought it for five, so I can use the 360 controller for PSU. But then, I also have the drivers for my PS3 Sixaxis controllers, but that doesn't work as well as the 360 one does. So I do have a good controller.
I played the trial on my 360. It was entertaining but I can't see it holding my attention for very long (gameplay is basically switching through the pallete and hitting one/two buttons to attack) and the missions seem repetitive and similar. The content updates don't seem very big or often either... But it is only 10 a month.
