    They basically just said they aren't going to have an open beta...you've been saying you had knowledge of open beta this year for like a month now.

     

    I think that you need to recheck your ":you'll all be wrong soon" attitude.

    
    Perhaps your would like to read through that again. They said that their  open beta will just be a free pre-release play of the game. I think you really need to work on that reading comprehension that you lack.

    That's not exactly an open beta than is it.  I can think of another game that had a similar "free pre-release" play period of the game, Dark and Light.  Before anyone decides to chime in and say you had to pay for that, no you didn't.  They offered a free chance to get it for a certain period of time.  Thankfully I got it and I'm glad I did.  Saved me a major headache from that game.

    Do you have a problem with me commenting on a possible similarity between the two? I explained why I thought that, what more do you want?

     

    It just seems to me DFO devs won't be open to player input at all with the way they're going.  Sure for the most part player input on a whole is garbage, but to completely alienate and take the players out of the entire development process all together is like shooting yourself in the foot.  What happens when certain game mechanics just do not work as intended with the different types of possible play styles out there, then what? I'm not talking about people that aren't interested in the game, I'm talking about sometimes features just don't function ingame as well as they look on paper.

     

    Anything you experienced with DnL  is irrelevant to current DarkFall.

    You should know that..

    Only because the actual release of Darkfall is still a question.  If it in fact does continue in the path that was mentioned in the post I quoted than my comment is valid. 

    dnl and darkfall have nothing in common.
