• • Entropia Universe: What is it about Entropia Universe?

  • Wow   I never suspected the existence of such games.

    But if the game is such moneysink why is it still live? The graphics are gruesome, which is no wonder, when EO has existed for so long. No improvement in textures or models since creation. Players need to pay to do basic things. What keeps the players in, at all?

    And who probably raised the game's hype to the sky. It might be good and might offer certain entertainment while you are waiting for the bus, but it certainly doesn't deserve that hype that it has right now. Just look at it and look at the other games? How does it compare to Aion or Stargate Worlds?

    I wonder who can hype the game so high, it simply cannot be

  • I must admit I was a bit confused when I first met the pirates ingame, near Brandywine Bridge, with all the standard things like eyepatches and the typical pirate hats - I expected them to look different, but then it was only a matter of time to get used to them. They were removed after a while though.

    Have the pirates returned to the game? Where do they appear this time?? (*wants another eyepatch*)

    Since in Middle Earth death is irreversible, there can't be resurrections and such, we have morale and we retreat when we are defeated (run away probably). When you don't lose your battles for a long title you get famous and when you do it for an incredibly long time, e.g. 20 levels, people think you are invulnerable and immortal, hence the title Undying And we die, when we get killed usually (or of illness or old age)

     

    Back to the original topic - I got the title for my hunter, it felt somewhat too easy to get, until I made two alts - a minstrel and a burglar. The minstrel has already died, I couldn't even manage to get the Undefeated title. The burglar is still undefeated, I hope to get the title for him (3 levels to go)
