Actually this is an invalid conclusion. I have three guilds (two GM's in place) and virtually 75% of them are from the US.

How about actually taking time to play the Maylasia/English version, before you jump to conclusions.

The game has a good community, plenty of help, but I do admit it takes a little to get use to inputting coordinates and using the map properly.

Good game - held my attention MUCH longer than: WOW, Final Fantasy, 2Moons, 9 Dragons, (name any online game here).

Item malls should only allow for special looks faster lvling or gold. or resources to speed up crafting. If you effect the playing field then youve ruined the game for NA sorry but NA like to compete on fair grounds or we will just bomb you. No but really free tibet, ohh my  i ment your game would fail here.

      1.  Any item sold in the Item Mall can be vended out - or exchanged, and many can be resold in Auction House.

      2.  There are NO Uber Weapons, or Potions - or items that affect the outcome of PVP - (are you sure you are talking about Perfect World?) Hierograms are a bit different. There is NO Super Speed, NO Super Potions at all in this game.

      3. Yes it is true, you can speed up crafting 'some' but many items you still need to go find or re-buy from vendors. Please note this is costly do to if you use the in-game store, as is experience scrolls.

      Thank you.

    • Recently discovered this game... I love it!!!
    • I agree - but try my guild (I have three).

It is called Fearless but I have two more Fearless? and Fearless?.

I 'do' recruit lower member if they show me a big of moxie.  Yesterday I was at the mines near Dragon City and a fellow asked me to help him kill a mini-boss.

The guy did not do like most (stand back and let me kill it) he got right in there, attacking first and allowing me to assist. I applauded him, asked him to join, but.. he was waiting to join a specific guild.

PM me if you wish to join or go to our forum:  http://www.PWFearless.com

      >> WHY

Bringing a newbie into the guild means unendign questions, and a substantial amount of assistance. But I like to take a handful of newbies, work with them (with a lower character I have) - help them understand the game, get THEM to party with each other and we help them through boss quests and timed quests.

Partying with a higher level will give you an experience spike (downwards). But just partying with someone that knows the game, gives you some starter $$, really helps.

Partying together as newbies - helps you level quicker and experience the game better but having a guild mentor - is icing on the cake.

Remember - getting from level 1-20, takes a few days, and probably 30-40 a few weeks.  Most guilds only recruit at level 40.

But if guilds recruit lower levels and mentor them - these members are more likely to stay in that guild.

Hope this helps. I am NiaJade in the game.

    • How is the crafting in PW?
    • Well.. you do not have to stick to crafting just one thing.  I am a pharmacist, started on making jewelery, some armor and weapons but I think I like pharmacist.

For pharmacist, everything you need (plant life) is around you. You merely have to collect it as you move through the maps.

For the others, there are ore mines, and etc.. and these are also found around the map. However, you do need a bit more for these and the NPC sells those items.

If you are good at crafting you do get a return on your investment. You can vend your items or sell in the auction house.

To me the potions are really intersting because its not hard to make your own HP/SP potions.  There are so many potions it is just hard to list.

Soulstones you can also buy and the enhance armor, or you can upgrade them yourself. I do not know alot about this subject.

Then you have the Werefox that tames pets, and can take 6 rares and combine them into a pet any member can use (it does not battle).

Abet it is not crafting - but then again, it is.

The potions - give you speed, certain types of magic attacks, and etc..

Then there are fuel crystals - these you simply get armor unassembled and converted into crystals which you get turned into fuel crystals.

Every race has a 'fast' mode for their Avaiation - with Elfs, it is their wings, with Beast it is the swan, black hawk or mantas.  With Humans it is the swords.  You drag the fuel stones to the aviation and ... you get a meter that lets you know when you run low and you actually do go faster.

Then - as a pharmacist you can later craft hierograms which drag up to a slot under your weapon to add magic attack or physical attack.  You (once again) use fuel crytals to make these).

The NPC's have chart showing you what + what = what and a full description.

What do I do?  Well you need a 'hoe' from the Merchandizer (cheap) and keep it wtih you.  When you pass plants - click to cultivate them. Often there are 2/3 per plant.  Same wtih ore or other items.  Some drops you need (thread, leather) etc, but there are so many charts about where to get what.

      Hope this helps~

    • You are going to be GLAD you did this. It is amazing how a character grows - even in just one months time!

      Love to see them !
