• • Some Questions.

  • I just decided to start playing FFXI. Before I start, I have a few questions which are listed below. Please excuse me if you can't tell what I'm asking, I don't know the slang and terms of FFXI yet. Thanks everybody.

    1. Do many people RolePlay?

    2. What are the bosses like? How tough are they?

    3. Where is a good place to learn about the game ?

    4. What is there to do exacly?

    5.What is a good world to play on? Where can I learn about servers so I can chose one?

    6. If possible, describe what the different group jpbs are like. (Tank, damage dealer, healer, support...)

  • Hello everybody! I plan on playing Final Fantasy very soon, but i have just a few questions I would like some help with. First, could someone help explain class roles ( tank, support, heal, damage, ect...)? Like how hard they are, how much responsibility, how fun they are and whatever else could give me more knowledges to the role and stuff like that. And second, i am the worst at picking classes in any game i play...  so could you also give me your thoughts about your         job(s)?  Thanks for your advice people! ^_^

  • Thanks everyone. WoW did have a pretty bad community and why else play an MMO then to play with other fun people? And I thank I can handle a lot of grinding as long as I make some good friends to grind with! And story is importiant to me to, plus, it is final fantasy. I don't know why I even gave WoW a second thought! ^_^  Thanks agian everyone, WoW has totally lost touch with my gamer soul now, ^_^   I am planning to play on odin or asura, so I'll see you guys around!     ; )

  • Last year, i had broken WoW's hold on my soul. ^_^      Anyway, I have been seaching for a new MM, and my brilliant cousin mentioned FFXI. After some late night research sessions, I came to love alot about this game. But now WoW seems to be calling e, mainly because of it's popularity in the gaming universe. Anyway could somebody help shake this feeling and tell me what make FFXI so awsome? And i would also like to know with that new SE MMO comming soon, is FFXI going to be forgotten?
