posters here giving out 'positive' misinformation????? what? crazy man, this place is just full of haters. where is all this positive vibes you are talking about? we must find them fast!
oh, I thought this was a thread to make an apology to Funcom for beeing so fucking crapy community and destroying a great game with all the hating in forums.
sorry 'bout that. this forum will never change from the miserable state its in.
or maybe, the translation could be something like. "The good news is that the Polish players will be practically a new game - much improved and developed the original terms." sounds like someone doesnt want to do the same mistake twice.

2. Charge 3 bucks to download the client (btw, something I have never seen another company do before.) -->Insert obligatory "OMG it's only 3 bucks!", "Dude if 3 bucks is a lot to you then you shouldn't be playing games.", "QQ more" comments here. <---
But come on. I gave the begger on the street more than $3 this morning.
But maybe todays brat kids are not used to pay for things anymore...
While I can understand what you're saying, it's not the amount of money that is the issue. It's the fact that they are actually charging people to download from them. Maybe if they didn't have to make the download 12 or 13 GB they wouldn't have had to charge for it.
Or maybe it's different in Norway. Maybe they pay a LOT of money to host servers there. I dunno. But it's pretty lame to actually charge people to try out your game, you have to admit.
I dont think they charge this download fee just because they need the money that bad.
I think this is the standard price vs. demand. There is a demand, and they can make some money on it. And if you really want a bad example of download fees. Just look at mobile industry, what you pay for the small shitty applications and games to cellphones. My collegue just spent $5 on a piano emulator for his iPhone!? I think I had one of those on my C64 in the 80's and now they sell them for money on apple app store?
