Biography

Took a hiatus from gaming and posting on forums during the semester to focus on school.

I want to game again, especially over the summer, but developers are not making games for me with world immersion, except for GTA IV.

    • what u like in online games
    • I have not been playing MMORPGs for two reason

      1. Lack of time; and
      2. Lack of world immersion.

I would gladly pay 70.00 for an MMORPG and 30.00+ a month for a world that is open, deep.

    • The USA Will Enter a Depression ... Yes, the D Word.
    • baff,

I will disregard the personal insults and the presumption you are "smarter" and "more experienced."  We all believe you.

Curious how you named British banks but not a single U.S. bank.  I know when and how you can bank stocks in a bank.  I know the difference between state-chartered and federally-chartered bank.  I know bank regulatory agencies from the FDIC to the comptroller of the currency.  TELL US, specifically, which US banks you own "substantial stock" in?

Owning shares of a stock in publicly traded corporations is an altogether different matter.

Edit:  If I do not get a straight answer, instead of just disregarding your lies, bad information, misinformation, and presumptions, you will be the first and I pray only person I ignore.  LOL. You have emotional problems and trying to make your "experience" (I do not believe you) a reason why you have more credibility.  You have zero creditiblity with me for never answering a single question I asked correctly.  I have tried to ignore you, but post all over with lies and misinformation.  It is not fun, especially when you attack people personally and then claim your a victim because you are a "foreigner."  I never checked, do not care, and do not want to know where you are from.  That is not relevant.  The fact you lie and spread bad information is relevant because it undermines intelligent discussion.

    • Why so little freedom in mmo's?
    • Good question!

A culture exists, and has even permeated gaming -- I am completely serious-- of "I know better than you."  So, "do this" and "do that" and "run here" and "level-up to raid."

I disagree about the market not wanting freedom.  It is not a niche.  It is an ocean in the market that is not being satisfied.  The market wants

      • Freedom
      • Innovation
      • Non-linear content
      • Non-forced options
      • Exploration
      • Opportunities to travel
      • Opportunities to impact a world (if you choose)
      • Opportunities to log-in and have fun as you choose

I am more concerned (worried, actually) about the long-term than short-term.

The brutal victory the British achieved in the difficult Second Boer war was cause for them to witness an Empire in decline:

      • London's financial sector drained resources from the industrial economy; and
      • Schools were inadequate.

The United States has experienced financial shocks and credit crises on TOP of a weak economy and unpopular wars that are draining the U.S. Treasury.  The worst part of all of this is that future earnings have already been spent.  Republican-control of government policies will require more money that the U.S. does not have.  Groundwork for future growth --infrastructure, education, strong economy, paying down the deficit-- was not laid during the Republican-dominated control of government.  Now that there is less money to redevelop America again, the long-term consequences of Republican-control will be far-reaching and accelerated our decline.  We do not build anything;  we do not have infrastructure; foreigners invest in the U.S. because of reputation and not because of economic growth.  Edit:  Our only economy is "defense," which is ghastly in terms of its waste because of the premiums the United States government pays to defense contractors.

We are destroying America, financially, from within.

China will become the largest economy in the world by about 2025.  In the United States, one in six homeowners owes MORE money than their house is worth.  When these baby boomers retire, Medicare costs will be the entire national budget.

Empire-building throughout the world brought-down the British.  Empire-building and financial mismanagement will bring-down the United States... unless drastic measures, in both the short and long-term, are taken.

Edit:  House Republicans were against the bail-out bill before they were for it. THAT should really tell you "something" about that party. All the while the U.S. Treasury is now dominated by banker-interests.
