You're about 2 years behind the powercurve there.
Anyway, you could easily substitute a P45 board for the x38 or x48 and get almost identical performance, plus you'd be saving about 100-150 dollars.
and Why two optical drives? I see no need for more than one.
edit: p.s. Gamefreek, you know nothing about computers, please refrain from offering advice. We spent a solid week or two and about 30 different threads trying to help you with yours. It is obvious you know next to nothing. Please do us all a favor and do not offer your opinions to people who may mistake you for someone who knows what they are talking about. It would be a shame for someone to drop hundreds of dollars on parts that you advised them to buy.
You really have told us nothing about your system. Any hardware part failing can cause a multitude of problems. My concern with the smokey smell is that it usually involves the mobo, procesor, vid card or PSU.
Dunno so much about the hard drive. Then again, saying you have an "extensive cooling solution" really doesn't tell us anything.
Post your system specs, your case, what fans you have, psu, everything.

Bioware have confirmed it's coming out 'sometime in 2009'. Link in the 'It's Official ' thread on this board.
I just want to go on record saying that "sometime in 2009" in realistic terms means 2011 most likely.
I don't think there has ever been a game that released when they said it would.
We all know that for some reason game devs can't estimate the release of their game for crap. We fans all know (the ones that pay attention) that you take the first estimated release date, and add two years to it, and you'll be much, much closer to an actual release date.
So...basically you are saying you don't like MMO's...
