Ok, when the game finishes downloading you right click on it, scroll down to delete, left click, hit ok and watch the pretty green bars go across. You just finished a better experience than what you will experience in game. If you do not follow these directions then you will experience this ![]()
Why are you people bashing the OP. You have know idea what setup they have. There were probably thousands of people out of the 15k and additional 5k that got invited that had problems downloading the game and never will get in. I have a 15mb download from cox on the east coast and I never got the downloads because of ridiculous slow download speeds and Gamespot downloader errors. I never exceeded 120kb down and that didnt last long, then avg. around 25 kb to 80kb down. At that rate it would take days to get the download.
I did manage to get part 3 and 4 through a poster recommending the free download program on the gamespot beta forums. Part 1 and 2 timed out at 67% and 61% and never started again. Alot of people got in and enjoyed it Im sure. However, I do not see alot of different beta testers talking about or showing tons of pics or video considering 20k people were invited.
My cousin is a regular beta tester and has not been able to get his downloads from that beta to work properly to this day. So, he gave up just like I gave up on the pvp beta weekend. It was poorly executed by Funcom and Gamespot together, period.
