I'm going to try a few of the classes that I've been curious about. None that I think I'll play at launch, but you never know. I hated playing tanks until I played the IB. Gonna try the Witch Elf, Marauder, and the Black Orc.

I was in closed beta and I can say this. The last game that was this fun was EverQuest 1 when it was first released. EQ was my first MMORPG too.
I only played in the Preview Weekend so I can't say I had enough time to see most of the game, but it is the only game that gave me the same type of feeling that EQ did (also my first mmo) when I started leveling.
Playin Grand Theft Auto 4 on 360 and Battlefield 2142 on PC

I have not played a WP yet, but I have never played a tank and had fun in any MMO until I played the Ironbreaker. They are just beasts plain and simple. They can take huge numbers of mobs if they are being healed and the more people bang on you the more grudges you build up that will allow you to unleash some crazy amounts of DPS. Even with a 2h weapon and no shield you can take on large numbers.
So preview weekend has come and gone. I definitely enjoyed my time and thank Mythic for making a fun product. I played 2 characters, both to level 11 renown rank 6. Played maybe a total of 18 or 19 hours over 3 days. Experienced 3 crashes to desktop, 2 during RvR, and both times it was with about 40-50 characters on screen. I did experience some pretty decent lag during RvR,.
Bright Wizard - As many have said, this plays very similar to most ranged nukers. In the first few levels you have very few (2 or 3) damage abilities and your melee is horrible but once you get to around level 10 the character really opens up. You also get a pretty cool AE fire trap that hold enemies for 5 seconds. PvE wise, I was able to take 2 same level mobs with relative ease. I assume that once you get more AE abilities this number jumps a bit. RvR was a blast. I would just sit back behind the line of fire running back and forth targetting casters or witch elves that were in range. Dotting people up and then hitting them with a large blast. Loads of fun. Scenarios were pretty much the same, but when I would come in contact 1v1 I found myself able to take most classes and still have about 1/3 health. Damage is huge, I could 2 shot some casters if my crits hit and I was at full combustion. I wasn't too amped on being a "glass cannon" but this weekend may have changed my mind.
Ironbreaker - I have never played a tanking class past the teens in any game I have had, but playing as an IB I might just have to make him my first. You start with a 1h and a shield, but you can swap that for a 2h, maybe find one at level 4 if you prefer more damage, I did. Your character starts with a few damage abilities, then you begin to get some DoT melee abilities as well as the snare + damage and those scale with more grudges. Once you get full grudges, which happened all the time in RvR you start to do massive amounts of damage and if you have a healer you can take down huge numbers.
Questing - I never gave too much thought to PQ's when I read about them, but it was a really nice addition being able to just randomly run to an area and join a group at random. I'm not a huge fan of the loot distribution, which is basically nothing more than a roll of the dice. I won 1st spot once when I literally tagged 1 mob in phase 2 and then half assed the boss. There were people there for a good 5 minutes, killing, before I got there. I did however pull a nice blue out of the bag. It does suck working so hard to get to the top of the charts and then having a dice roll of 200 and someone at the bottom getting 930 or something ridiculous and you end up 8th aftewards. Overall I think it is a fun addition and most are entertaining the first few times you run through one.
RvR - I really had fun with the RvR and it was cool that you could catch a flight to the other warzones in your tier so that the classes could spread out. I loved being one of the only Dwarves in the Human v. Chaos maps. I have read alot of people saying that no one knew what they were doing and my response would be: Everyone's new, what'd ya expect? I was getting heals the whole time and that's enough for me. All I had to do was dps and/or hold the front of the line.
Graphics - I found the graphics to be just fine. I thought the landscapes were done very well and every area you went to felt very "at war" for lack of a better phrase. It really added to the immersion. Yes they are reminiscent of Warcraft, but whatever I don't care. If that's a deal killer for you then that sucks. If you like Warcraft so much wy are you on these forums anyways, don't you have some T18 gloves or something you need?
Soundtrack - could use a little work, but the sound effects were solid.
I really enjoyed my time. Nothing extremely groundbreaking, but I do think that the PQ system is a great step in the right direction. I love that it creates an open grouping system and allows you to meet new people everywhere you go. Big thumbs up on that one. Overall I liked the preview weekend and am very glad I preordered the game.
