After two days of switching from a 32-bit Vista to a 64 Bit Vista (Thanks to ATI for crappy drivers on my 3870x2) Then going to a 64-bit XP and back to my Vista 64bit... I have concluded that Vista does run AOC for my setup at 10FPS faster. The 32Bit causes memory leaks and crashs from the client (3GB limit). The 64Bit Vista is recommended if you Video Card loves you and has perfect drivers.

Vista 32Bit
3GB DDR2
Ati 3870x2 (BTW, that's the model, not two 3870's.)
@1680x1050.
I ran smoothly with most of the settings, (All but Sound Hardware, got a crappy AudigySE card), Maxed.
Smoothly at 40-60FPS. 40 being populated areas, 60 in standard PVP..
So, doesn't have to be the best, just something to run the latest DX10 shaders...
Alrighty, well I hope you guys are correct on this. I don't mind Paying for a Game, as long as it'll at least compare to EQ2/CoV-COH & WoW in playability for more than a month. :P
I'll keep checking up on it, fingers crossed. Just hate to see something like War be underachieved in developing. Specially since the Artist and Creator had much envisioned for this game.
Just a question as it's not really running the latest shaders and lighting dynamics..
No, I'm not an AoC fanboy, or any other at that matter. I've just spent a good amount of time
playing every single MMO because of lack of end content.
I've been hoping WAR to be awesome, I loved the concept art and figured it would be good to go as it had a good following. I'm not in the beta, nor have I played it but from their screenshots and the entire class builds, I'm finding less joy of playing this on my computer (Yes, real MMO'ers actually keep up with their computers, just because well they don't play consoles. :P) So when I look at my computer and knowingly find myself shuttering at the flaws in detail (Not from artistic deployment, but in actual EA scrap together and shove it out there style), I can only hope to the Gods of the MMO World that Chronicles is gonna be decent..
As for that, I have played AOC beta and seeing how I was burnt on TabulaRasa, I'll be waiting a bit before I even think on diving in... Perhaps a trial or something.
