The highelves look like crossdressers,
A humorous comment from someone who appears to play a female avatar in EVE. But back on topic.
Playing a female avatar and being a crossdresser isn't really the same thing... And the high elves do look stupid, they based them of the worst models from the tabletop instead of the best looking from the RPG. It is clear that destruction/Chaos got more love from Mythic and that's why more play them.
But back to topic, yes Both Mythic and Funcom cheats a bit with the numbers for the servers, we should se the numbers of players online, not what the company is low, mid or high. Have the numbers be green on low, white on med and red on high too, then you really get the idea better how big the server is and ca chose the one you wants.
Really? Chaos got more love? That must explain the 5 hairstyles and 5 beard options, none of which look anywhere near decent.
Whereas the elves actually look exactly like warhammer elves from the Artwork, not the miniature. You can't get facial features from miniatures lol.
And the OP saying they look like crossdressers must just not like the battle robes idea. Meh. The high elves have some of my favorite character art out of any of the races except for the greenskins, and their areas seem like they had the most though put into the landscapes.

Well if a shame if everyone does that.. which they are because it is the best way to exp.
Personally I wanted to play an MMORPG.. not an instanced PvP game. So it frustrates me that I have to do scenarios to keep up with my guildmates.
Not that scenarios aren't fun.. but theyre a shallow form of PvP compared with open world RvR.
I get more xp and renown from world pvp than I ever got from scenarios. Got 2 full renown ranks (approx. 13k renown) in like an hour and a half doing open world RvR. And also got like 3/4 of a level in that same hour and a half.
Granted this is from RR10 to RR12, and only level 14, but I don't even bother doing scenarios. They're not nearly as much fun as the tug of war over a keep.
Not to mention that the best RvR loot (i.e. RvR SET PIECES) come from Open world RvR player kills, keep lord kills, and BO sergeant kills. As per the Jeff Hickman interview, and proven in-game.
So sure level your way through with only scenarios. You're missing out on 40+ v 40+ several hour keep sieges where the renown and xp pour in constantly while you're sitting in a queue.
Scenarios are fun to break up the pace of open world RvR or if you only have 30 minutes to log in, aside from that they don't compare to open world RvR and once people start realizing this, you'll see tons more Open RvR battles going on.
Edit: To fuzzylogic: Dude get out there in open world, the drops there and the keep lord and BO sergeant drops own PQ drops. Seriously. Much much better.

thats my feeling aswell. dmg output is weak for a "ranged dps" as it is called. If you want ranged dps get yourself a caster
IMO They make up for that by not being glass cannons.
Shadow Warriors and Squig Herders are more "support Ranged DPS."
If you give them the survivability of a bright wizard or sorceress then they should do more damage.
I've been severely crippled in RvR thanks to shadow warriors. It seems like if you play one you have to be smart about your target selection.
I just had an amazing experience in Tier 2 doing Open world RvR across three pairings with a full warband, taking two keeps, and ending up with a 40+ vs. 40+ battle that pushed forward and backward for a good 30 minutes over a keep.
Boiling Oil, Balistas, Cannons, etc. It was amazing, and I gained more renown in an hour doing Open world RvR than I did in 2-3 hours doing Scenarios.

EU or US?
EU
Ok, I was going to say, I didn't have any issue subbing for the game on the US account page. Good luck mate, hope you're able to get it sorted.
What characteristics of an MMORPG do you look at most?
