I'm not sure whether what pezit is saying is true or not, but you don't have to go the the abyss zone. It is mostly only for pvp, though they said that there would be areas with high lvl mobs.
But the developers have said that you can play the entire game outside of the abyss ignoring the pvp aspects and still have alot to do.
I believe that the balaur have a huge floating ship which they use as a base to travel in the abyss. Im not kidding. Just give me a day and I will post a link.
took less time then i expected to find pictures

Seeing all of these skills in action makes it even harder to wait for the release date. An now I can't even decide on a class.
Being in the beta also gives you a better understanding of the world, and how things work. You can also see if you will like the game or not.
So what if your character gets wiped. You still have an advantage on everybody else knowing what to expect.
I will be going either cleric or chanter depending on the skills and weapons they have.
Would you rather see a game release pushed back a year or have the game release witha few bugs that will be fixed?
