Just curious,
Blizzard devs will be keeping an eye on "competition" games like AoC and especially this one, WAR. I am wondering if they are going to re-think WotLK and see if they cant "revamp" thier game to keep the hardcore players interested and potentially attract new players - the problem with WotlK is that it is only geared for high end - they need new races and starting areas to attrack new players - or are they just biding time with thier "Secret MMO" being WoW 2 - making it gameplay and graphics better than AoC and WAR combined? I know this is a WAR forum, but am wondering what the WAR fans have to think about this!?!
Hey, in those Youtube Tome of Knowledge videos, wasnt that the AoC development team sitting around? ;)
For Starters.
This is NOT Guild Wars.
This is NOT Fury.
This is WARHAMMER ONLINE.
Warhammer is a HUGE Fantasy WORLD - which people (fantasy ones) LIVE IN!! Sure, there are WARring factions and they go to WAR alot - but they also have LIVES. There are a TON of novels out there were not every page and every line is FIGHTING. If you are making an mmoRPG, which this is, not a PVP ONLY game, you need to accept that people will want to log in and feel as thought they are in a WORLD and dont have to FIGHT if they dont want to.
PS - RPG stands for Role Playing Game.
We play roles. It HAS to be a WORLD if it is to survive.
A good question and a very good post!

Which IP would you like to see become Bioware's new MMO?
