You should be able to ask to have it escalated to their superior so they can address it.
However, I would suggest not starting the ticket off by calling them morons and what not. You shouldn't expect the best service if you do decide to use that approach.
any customer service rep who allows such to influence his actions needs to be fired immediately. Part of the job is dealing with angry people, and if you can't handle it, you need to get as far from customer relations as possible.
umm where i come from being verbally abusive no matter what the problem even a medical one it will get you hung up on or a door slammed in your face. Maybe we are more polite where I come from but you certainly dont go around calling people morons when asking for help. They are paid to help not take abuse and i'm sorry but that's verbal abuse. We have little signs on the desks at the doctors offices here that any abusive behaviour will not be tolerated. Now if hospitals and doctors office wont allow verbal abuse i would think that it would go tenfold for other minor things.. like your game not working or an account issue. Why on earth would you think that an abusive person unable to speak politely to someone is allowed to be that way? good lord..
a customer service rep IS paid to take "verbal abuse," and if they can't handle it, they can't handle the job. It has nothing to do with where you are from; it merely has to do with where you are going. If you can't take the heat it is time for you to be going -- to look for another job.
You are so wrong its laughable. Service reps are paid to handle PROBLEMS not rude and abusive customers. An angry customer and an idiot who goes off like a spoiled child are two entirely differnt things.<Mod edit>
You getting spam is your fault, no offense. You should have at least one email account other than your main provider. your main provider should be kept for personal stuff only. Subscriptions should be tossed onto the alt account. Spam isn't new and everyone knows what spam is all about, setup an alt account now and use it they way you shuld have been all along.

Of course its not a realistic game, its fantasy based. If you want realism as far as pwning noobs goes you have the PVP servers. You say thats not your thing, but yet thats basically what you're saying is wrong with EQ2. They added that a long time ago for people that didnt just want to play a PVE game. I really dont see what other steps they could take..you want them to toataly change the design focus into RVR when that wasnt the game that they wanted to make from the start. Ive never played WoW but from what I hear they have plenty of that type of gameplay.
No you dont get it. Its ok cos your not the only one that cant get your head round the concept. Many people find the idea confusing.
Yes its a fantasy game. That doesnt mean it cant be a bit realistic. In fact like I said it does lots of things very well. There is no reason why it should deviate from its own back story though. Being a fantasy game does not mean that it shouldnt make any sense. Understand?
No I dont want to be able to simply "pwn noobs" and I'm not saying lack of PvP is whats wrong with EQ2. I'm not some gank-happy kid that just wants to kill other players for the sake of it. What I would have liked is if EQ2 had not deviated so much from the original EQ setup. I quite like roleplaying (to a degree) and getting immersed in the gameworld. EQ2 breaks that for me by forcing me into situations where I am continually meeting players from enemy races that I cant do anything about other than befriend. Like I said before this rather goes against the games setting.
Also I am well aware that EQ2 was not designed as an RvR game. I honestly dont know why people keep stating the obvious and pointing that out. I know its not going to change. I am saying though that it was a very bad design choice considering the game is based around a good vs evil plotline. So yes in a way I would actually like them to change the focus of the game to an RvR setup......in fact maybe should have designed it that way from the beginning......but of course I know that isnt going to happen now. EQ2 is what it is and thats that. Of course there are not any steps they could take to improve the game now without completely remaking the thing.......which is why I left and await something better in the future.
The game your describing, the game you want is Warhammer Online. Good vs Evil RVR. If you haven't checked it out already, your probably going to love this mmo.![]()

Anyway, that is awesome about sieging. I can't wait to try it out. I loved DAoC sieges, I hope they are similar or better.
DAOC sieging is still leaps and bounds ahead of AOC, DAOC is yet to be dethroned as the pvp/siege king. AOC's vulnerability window for sieging needs to be looked at, it leaves a huge amount of players unable to participate. You can only siege at particualr times of the day, not game time days but real time. Its really placing a strain on the pvp aspect of the game which is all thats left when you hit 80. With so many problems to work out as it is I'm sure sieging will get a revamp but it will take awhile. Don't take this as a "kill AOC" post, I don't play anymore for many reasons but if you like it, by all means play on and have fun. I'm just trying to shed some reality on the current state of sieging.
PRE-CU SWG FTW!!!........
haven't played Tabula Rasa, something about the game just didn't bring out that itch to play it. From what you describe about TR combat the only game that remotely looks like that system is similar is the little itsy-bit of gameplay video on Stargate Worlds. Other than that, I don't see any other game with what your describing. Sorry, all I can think of bud.![]()
Aside from questing, what do you spend most of your time doing in-game?
