No, this game isnt like eve and if you like eve you wont like this, I was hoping it was going to be eve with Pirates I was wrong, then I hoped it would at leaset be WoW with Pirates I was wrong too, its neither, doesnt do anything right be it pve or pvp.
I use click to move, why hold down a button when i can just mouse click once and watch my guy go autopilot. Works good when going long distances I dont see any reason to remove it and I dont buy the z axis argument since games with jumping let you click and move. Why get rid of it? Seems like a convenient feature something which GW is known for. All new games from FPS's to mmo's should have click and move, why not?
Yes bad games make money, if they didnt they wouldnt exist. Makes you wonder why the fanbois of these crappy games always treat the devs as if they were in need of charity meanwhile the devs havent lost 1 penny with their crap game infact they have a job becuse of their turdpile and will make money off it until the very end which at that point they'll fold walk away and start a new crap game for the suckers to donate their money to.
This game has many problems but after trialing i have to say ganking isnt one of them, infact I tried hard to get ganked and I couldnt, i sailed around the red circles forever looking for a fight and nothing, and when i did get into a fight it was npc's not that I could tell the difference between an npc and a normal player anyway which was also a negative. I admit I didnt play long maybe a couple of hours total in the span of a few days but after getting in a ship sailing up to another ship and blasting it I seen all there is to see in the game. But The extreme carebears will always cry at the slightest form of competition in any game no matter how anti pvp it is, and in this case this game is not even close to a pvp game, its like pvp designed for carebears... and they liked it kinda... but the extreme carebears hate it but in the end it just sucks and has nothing to do with being ganked but for some reason some people want to claim a carebear victory when really everyone losses with this game.
the expansions in this game arent like expansions in other games they're pretty much a whole different game by themselves, they dont continue from the orignaly except for Eye of the North expansion which is considered the only expansion of guild wars(continues the story from the oringal) The rest are called chapters, they dont continue anything from the original theyre pretty much a seperate game. They do give you new skills which you can use in any of the expansions or chapters. You only really need them if you want to be competative in pvp, but you wont be competaive in pvp at the start so theres no real reason to buy them all at once until you get to that point where you need all the skills to be good in pvp or need more content after you beat pve. Start with the original and go from there, if you think you need more then get the rest, youll know by then and you wont miss anything in the mean time, infact youll be plent busy before you even think about getting more, i played the original 2.5 years before I had the urge to by an expansion.
