    Of the current 10 million WoW has, 5.5 million of them are the Asian market. The remaining USA and Europe market will be pulled away. I listed some other "notables", so please dont ask why I didn't include "X" game. I think the MMO market is starving for something new so that's why I feel Darkfall at 200k will be somewhat of a success. I didnt list LOTRO or Vanguard because I think their numbers will stay the same.
    The main point here is, I think if Warhammer turns out to be everything that is promised, the US market will jump on it.

    Then the AoC fanbois will chime in going on about something or another as payback for WAR fans doing the same to them on release. Aion fans will go 'oh but there's Aion'. Someone else will dismiss it as another 'asian grinder'. Darkfall will be mentioned and someone else will say 'vaporware'. Somewhere amongst all this a SWG vet will cry about how they'd be playing it still if it hadn't gone to shit. A few people will balance up all the screaming and whining and mention how, 'such-and-such an MMO is fun and they enjoy it come play it!'.

    Threads like this will be repeated a few million times and sometime down the track the next batch of 'next generation MMOs' will be announced and once again people will hype themselves up for what the MMO gaming world would consider as Christ's next coming.

    It's quite possible people are leaving beta. Every game won't appeal to everyone. Additionally some people expect to basically play the game for free in its release state and get pissed when they can't.

    1/ I don't give a damn if AoC succeeds
    2/ I don't give a damn if AoC fails
    3/ The poll is pointless and proves nothing.
