No wouldnt pay for any beta, and wouldnt buy one without getting a free trial too see if i liked it.
pretty much once bitten and twice shy when it comes to new mmorpgs now.
Depends how much i like the game and any contributing factors. for example how often there is expansions/new content and would i have to pay for these or would they be free with sub. as far as a single game probally wouldnt go over $30 a month or $50 total for multiple games.
Would love to see someone do gamma world. I think many of the concepts in it would do well in a mmorpg. In particular the use of batteries and various types of ammo. for example ,if u were wearing a battlesuit that used a nuclear battery, the battery would last like 24-72 hours of gametime making the armor rather useless once its charge ran out, until u found another one. The same with weapons, as i recall i use to have carry several different types, since some were more useful in certain situations and many had to be used sparingly, due to the difficulty of finding more of the type of ammo /battery u needed.
although i dont think this worked very well in the pen/paper version, i think it would fit perfectly in a mmorpg.
Aside from questing, what do you spend most of your time doing in-game?
