    WAR has had the whole world remade twice now, what makes you think it wont go thru another they are not even allowing beta tests but for 2 days every couple weeks.     though I'm not sure how much more you will like WAR over AoC... MMORPGs really don't have vast differences from one another other than the basic design and layout. The only differences in WAR will be less graphics, more class choices, less instancing, more ganking, and many other minor things you can look at as flaws or high points. Hope you find something, though.

    As a beta tester for WAR I don't know where you guys get your info, but the highlighted areas above are flat out wrong. No need to post misinformation about a game in developement just because he does not like AoC and mentioned WAR. I enjoy both games currently and plan to continue with both. They each have their highs and lows. They really do appeal to different tastes.

    Are u serious?? U actually enjoy WAR right now? Dude, If you were in Beta, "which I doubt" then you would be singing a different tune. Right now, WAR is doind PVP testing which starts at level 40. All your doing is zoning in a pvp batlefield and fighting other people. Once u die, "which takes about 5 minutes" you rinse and repeat. U call that fun?? LOL. So umm ya, once again, if u were in beta for WAR, u wouldn't state how much fun your having....Cause anyone who thinks testing a minor part of that game is fun must get their head examined,,that or u are easily entertained by things that go booom, or uuuggghhh, lol

     

    Again, that's not true at all. You can do far more than test a battlefield right now. Two major cities opened up, more races and their tiers opened up for leveling. There is quite a bit to test right now beyond a battlefield. So, no, they are not doing level 40 PvP testing right now. They were and they had several zones opened up with quite a few places to fight and many different aspects to test. But it's a beta and it's focused testing. So you really can't expect the entire world to be wide open right now.

  • If you think this is the worst MMO launch ever then it's clear you haven't played any other MMO's. I had more problems when The Burning Crusade launched than AoC.

    Obviously you have no clue what you are talking about. The whole world has not been remade twice. The beta is up 24/7 except for when a new patch comes out. Not sure where you got that 2 day thing.

    It is in very early beta so one cannot really judge the game in it's current state, but if it launched now it's safe to say AoC has NOTHING to fear.

    I guess people hype games just due to how good their graphics are.

     

    MMO's which are 7 years old also have 7 years of patches and expansions. None have "far better systems" at launch.

  • Factional Warfare is what I have been waiting for since it was originaly announced for the expansion that later became Trinity.

    It will finally add some real direction to the game. Which is what alot of new players complain about in EVE. A lack of direction and goals. And playing since release off and on I can see where they are comming from.
