  • I have been looking into it and i agree with most people. Hey WoW has a new expantion thats called warhammer .....    anyways i will try it out but most likely be playing requiem (which i am in beta or now and is great) or aion.  I am looking for a good game that has a good story, not another button mashings MMO where nothing is balanced in PvP and PvE is boring and easy.

  • people that buy gold from farmers ruin the games we play. Here is a prime example. I use to play FF11 in a major HNM linkshell. We went to King B camped there for 4 hours waiting for spawn with gold farmer group waiting there too. We won the claim but somehow in kiting the thing around we lost claim and goldsellers stole it. They could not kill it do they called help and in end no one got any loot and they ruined a perfectly lagit game experience.

    Also another example... the O kote in FF11 a very nice mid level to high level set of hands that yuo get out of a mid level world castle. These things sell for like 5-6 million on AH and reason why, gold farmers camp the thing 24 hours a day with 6 of them at each spawn point. I can not get a claim on thing and they sell it for way more then it should be sold for. Ruins the game play, the ability to go up grade armor on my own by killing rare spawns, screws up the economy, and finally isn't what the game was made to do.

    If you buy gold you promote things like this. You screw other people by giving people like this reason to be there rather then wanting to put an ounch of effort in to get what you want.

    Now for the preorder thing. When you preorder a game you get shiny stuff. Thats all it is and in end does not matter a bit. Does not ruin anyone elses gameplay, does not give you any advantage to anything in the game and it is something that is just there for looks and fun. It is part of the game. No game i have ever seen gives you a nice high end set of armor, money in game, advantages (over cosmetic) to other players. This is purely for the person who is a big fan of game and just wants something shiny to enjoy. If i have a mount thats Orange instead of white because i order the game early does that matter one bit.

    Remember a MMO is a world. It does not apply to or should not apply to real world items. If you are a casual gamer then stick being casual and take the disadvantages you get from it. Hardcore gamers put the time and effort into getting nice stuff in game and money in game. Also if you do not enjoy the game to the point you have to spend money outside the game to make it even slightly enjoyable then get off the forums get off the website get out of the MMOs and let us do what we do without you bothering us.

  • Ok i just got this game been playing it for 3-4 days not. This game is great. It blows WoW out of the water. It has real content even at low level. It is very fun to play. it looks good. If i had one complaint about game up till level 10 it is the response in game. It is not as responsive as WoW on the controls. That is very minor issue.

    If you are looking for a good game to play that has real content and character building try out Lord of the rings online. It is great

  • Been playing the game for about 3-4 days now and i love it. The story line is great, gameplay is fun and it has real content even at low level. I highly suggest picking this one up or atleast trying the free trial out it will give you an idea just get to 10.
