This is LA we're talking about. They are going to release it whenever they darn well feel like. Whether it's ready or not.
Sounds like Public Quests in WAR.
Simplistic talent tree system doesn't seem like Bioware's style but they may very well go that route. The closer to the original KOTOR class/skills/feats/attributes the better imo. It gives much more diversity to classes.
Would not make sense to have jedi be rare. The whole theme of KOTOR is Jedi vs Sith and light side vs dark side. I'm not a gambling man but I would bet the bank that jedi will not be rare. There might be some kind of force sensitive questing system to unlock at lower levels which sounds more like Bioware's style of story writing.
Don't count on many similarities to SWG. I imagine it will be a completely different game from the original SWG. Knowing Bioware, it will more than likely be very story-based and class-based. I wouldn't rule out Bioware adding the ability to multi-class.
It does seem like the higher I level the less and less people RvR. I love keep sieges and the RvR "lakes" but it seems like the only way to get renown is to repeatedly do scenarios. When I was in OB RvR was huge and scenarios would pop up almost immediately after signing up in queue. Now I average 20-30 min waits for scenario queues and rarely anybody RvRs anymore. This is my experience on the two servers I'm on.
It's about freakin time! I guess they were just waiting until after Force Unleashed came out so not to steal its thunder. Looking forward to it.![]()
