• • Question for people that have tested most if not all the classes....

  • I was wondering if there is a class in WAR that has a combat interface like that of the Rogue from WoW?Im not talking about the stealth part. I got to try the Sword Master in the beta but the combat seemed too slow paced for me.....it seemed like I clicked then I had to wait, clicked then had to wait.

    I liked the instant melee attacks of the Rogue in WoW, where I would click an attack and instantly it would attack, i wouldn't have to wait. (plus I like to mash keys sometimes, so I like pushing the attack button multiple times and it won't cancel out the attack).

    I like the concept of WAR, and have quit WoW, Im just trying to decide to get the game or not. And if there is a class that has instant spell attacks like that of the Rogue from WoW then I will definitely get it because the game would be fun for me then. If not then the combat wouldn't be fun for me becuase I hate click, wait, click, wait.

  • Thanks for the info you two. Vanguard sounds awesome, I just wish that there was a little random open world pvp.....One other quick question....I can do without the open world PvP, but are there "duels" in game and do people duel a lot, a good amount, or really next to none?

    I've been looking for a new mmo of course as many others have, but I like both PvE and PvP. I knew that Vanguard had a PvP server and I was wondering if it is still up and if it is populated a least some, and how the PvP is on this server (fun, etc.).
    
    Also, I like grouping but I also like soloing when I can't find a group. Can you progress decently in leveling (not just crafting or w/e secondary thing like diplomacy) by playing solo and grinding some stuff?

  • Yeah the PvE was kinda just an after thought. But I'm on the same page with most of you, besides the guy that isn't interested in this type of game.

    I do wish I had an easy button and "poof" it would happen.

    lol @ Gish, I could make the game too if I had all that you listed....But I could one up you, I don't need the token offering of earth and water

  • Im talking more like CoD4 type weapon upgrades and levels.....the levels just open up the upgrades, if you have played it, they don't mean too much, but give you some pretty cool upgrades that help a little but don't really give you an advantage over other players.
