The classes are FAR from balanced, and that's from actually playing multiple characters, and grouping with different classes, playing in all the pvp games multiple times with multiple classes.
For example, mage classes, mainly the demo and necro, are sickningly squishy. If you can put up with the "combo" key-mashing, I'd recommend playing a class that can take some abuse, like a Guardian, or hell, even the Barb.
lol, playing a necro here and i can vouch for this. the lack of pet taunt (besides frenzy every 2m) is kinda hurting me =/
as someone who's played to high level though: how do you find the shield block/melee combat system in general? can people circumvent it by just running in circles and dancing around? i've been wondering about that, but haven't really got much chance to actually test it in PVP
i tried to set my name as "Elifairabdinikh", which means in arabic "one thousand dicks in your religion", but that was filtered (i suspect because of a hidden name-length restriction). i settled for "Wajabzibik", which means "an infection to your dick", presumably with 'to' implying that the infection should be brought on by divine justice/Allah/The Elegant Cosmos/Quantum Mechanical providence.
unless you're playing on an RP server, there's little reason to filter anything, even less so considering this is an "M" rated game. if you don't like someone's name, ignore them, don't group with them, or tell your guild to do a combination of the former two. if it ruins your game experience to see someone named "Modderfalker" or even "xoxoHitlerConanxoxo", i really don't know what to tell you as far as online gaming
just fulfilling my union contract by signing this thread. i haven't read the first post, so if it was a joke, cancel that.
