So is EQ1 worth getting? there still people on the servers? I just dont want to join and be alone.
Hey thanks for answering! But I have tryed both Perfect World and D&D Online. Perfect World was nice for the customization but lack of class creation and grinding to me... And D&D Online was alright but not to fond of constant zoning in and out. Both are cool games just not our cup of tea.
I've tried EQ2 before it was semi-smooth, vangaurd though just seemed laggy as heck. So what is the difference between vangaurd and eq2? They were released closeley, they both are MMORPG and same company no?
Which is better, has more players?
Hello all! My fiance and I are thinking about joining EQ1. We both played a lot of MMORPGs and stopped them because we had the end game armor and the game became stale. Anyways. We would of tried EQ2 but the computer specs were kind of laggy. So we have some questions.
1st- I would like to be like a Paladin but a DPS paladin, is there such a thing? Even if it's a different class. As long as it's holy and I get to wear cool armor and cool shields.
2nd- Is there a certain class spec to go, if so where is the forums for the certain spec?
3rd- Where can my fiance and I buy the game and all the expansions online?
Thank you!
Hello. So my fiance and I are here because we were tired of WoW and FFXI. We had all the end game raid equip in both games and we were looking for a new game. (Not the new WoW expansion but sick of WoW).
So we've been doing some searching and EQ and EQ2 seem to be the perfect choice. Nothing against the other MMORPG's but these were the choices (unless you can help choose something better).
Atlantic wasn't our game, we wanted more RPG and customization.
LOTRO wasn't our game, same, we tried it but not our game.
Guild Wars was fun back in the day but still not our game.
No to EVE, or any sci-fi game.
Vangaurd, Warhammer, AOC were nice to look at but the computer specs were too high for us.
We were looking for something that is set in medieval time, high community, lots of class choices, character creation choices, good gameplay, need end game, not Point and click like Lineage 2.
So our computer specs are:
COMPUTER 1-
ATI Radeon Xpress 200M Series, Intel Celeron M CPU 410@ 1.47 Ghz, 896 MB of Ram. (Played WoW easy, same with FFXI)
COMPUTER 2-
ATI Radeon 9200. AMD Anthlon XP 2200+ 1.80 Ghz, 1 GB of ram. (Played WoW and FFXI easy too)
Basically, looking for a fun game to be into with good community, good classes, a lot of end game, places to explore.
PS- No games that have classes that are weird like sworduser or something. Has to have a lot of classes, and normal class names like Paladin, Ranger, Priest, etc.
Thank you for your time!
