         Is The MMO community that bad that there is not one MMO out there?

  •      I really hate to bring this subject up.  but I was a hard core SWG player until all the hell broke loose with the nge.  Ive really been looking for a another game that has mystery to it.  like the old SWG .  Now its all hack and slash.  I really wish i could find that MMO out there that has a special something about it.  a since of mistory and depth like never before.  I fear the MMOs are doomed.  Every thing out there now seems like games that have been changed because of what kids say.  since when do kids have enough experiance to make changes to games that devs have worked on there hole lives.  Im tired of all these cake made games.  Its like handing out here you win tokens everywhere.  Its time the artist where artist that have enough balls to belive in there own work.
     
         anyway im looking for a good mmo like the old SWG anyone have a clue.

    I stoped playing aswell, but the reasons you gave as to why you stoped playing are poor.  Graphics wont improve and the actual chr cust wont either (other then new armor).

    
     

    Actually, in Mythic's last game, Dark Age of Camelot, they overhauled the entire graphics system several times to allow higher level texture detail, remodeled and reskinned all of their ingame textures to keep up with the times and also completely overhauled their entire character creation system to include facial and body customization.

    So, yes, like CCP (Eve Online) - Mythic has proven that yes, graphics can be completely replaced and upgraded post launch. Although, I wouldn't ever expect this for the next 2 years.

    On the flip side though, both DAoC and WAR's graphics engine seem to be too performance demanding for the level of quality they produce. The engine "should" be much faster for the quality of graphics when compared to other games. But, I still enjoy the games even though I don't care for their custom game engine.

    I hope the graphics do get updated.  Ive played this game for a week now.  Its ok i like it just seems like its missing something.

    first impression have to be atleast after few lvls. Not when you put game in into dvd-rom. and double click on icon.

    if you used that time playing game, not sitting here... PLZ just go and play, and give your opinion after a few lvls...

    
     

    no its my opinion if you dont like; you dont like it.  Out of the box and starting the game up was pretty frustrating.  Game play is still on the table i never discounted that.  My post I'll post what I want.  Go make a post about players who post to soon somewhere else.  You can't control other people just because your unhappy with someones opinion even if it is an early opinion.

     Oh m8, i do respect your opiion, i am just saying : go and play darn thing.  And i dont try to change it. And why should i be unhappy? Everyone have its own taste. Just giving a mini review just after haveing some trouble after installing it? M8... too early...
     

    Anyway i wount go deeper, if you really smart, you will understand, i am not bashing you, i am just asking you to go and play! I am,  not saying this game is imba or its so bad. Just play it! And then say your opinion.

     

    I have to say i have played a little more. i still think graphics could be better but the game play is pretty nice
