If it's not your thing, no worries. Play something else, find a new hobby, etc. I heartily recommend Valve's Orange Box, if you've not gotten it yet. Between Half Life 2 and its additional episodes, Portal and Team Fortress 2, you'll be in for a lot of fun, if you even remotely enjoy FPSes. ![]()

I like 1-20 WoW :P
I, on the other hand, hate 1-20 WoW. Too simple and the areas aren't appealing. 28-50 on the other hand, is the most entertaining part of the game. It has the best areas (Thousand Needles, revamped Dustwallow, Tanaris), some very good instances (Zul'Farrak, Razorfen Downs) and you haven't played long enough for your class to really start boring you. (as happens in Outland; and the boring straight hall dungeons in OL don't help either)
No, I'm not joking (http://www.worldofwarcraft.com/index.xml). Makes you wonder if Blizzard's doing this since WAR and possibly Aion may beat WotLK to market?

Looks actually pretty decent to me, i'll most likely be buying the expansion, people here can try make themselves bigger than they seem and fart some air out but WotLK is going to sell more than AoC or WAR can sell/sold together.
You can't go wrong with Blizzard when it comes to buying an entertaining game worth every penny.
It looks like more of the same. World of Warcraft isn't bad so much as it is extremely shallow. And I'm sure it'll outsell AoC (not so sure about WAR), but who cares? That's not going to make the gameplay less grindy or formulaic. And last but not least, until WoW came out I'd have agreed with you on the "Blizzard can't make a bad game" front, but WoW is mediocre at best. Lots of style, no substance.
I happen to know someone who's testing Stargate Worlds right now (F&F ), and wouldn't be too shocked to see it ready by Christmas. From looking at the Korean beta, Aion is just about done, and NCSoft claims that they've been doing the U.S. and Euro translations for the game simultaneously. It that's the case, we might see it this fall.
Which November expansion are you most excited about?
