Honestly, they just need to move forward after so long in development. I understand that there are issues with not having the servers in house, but that's not axactly a fatal flaw. There is no reason to garner half a million subscribers at launch, not that it wouldn't be great for Aventurine, but maybe the slow and steady approach (ala EvE) is better for the long run because if they get in over their head the whole thing is likely to implode like so many other failed MMO efforts in the past.

Well... Beta of course... but I really want to see how city management is going to take place, and what tools they gie to guilds in order to manage city relations and city functions. Also, I want to see how viable being a pirate really will be... I know its possible, but can you actually make that your full on gameplay style, is it fun? We'll see.

I'm just happy that they are finally moving forward with getting things in line to actually launch the game. Of course there are downsides to any publishing/hosting solution that they pick, but this is hardly an aweful choice (though the greek publisher might be...).
