    Plenty of other games you can play/complain about.  Atleast spread your vast knowledge on how games should be made in every forum.  I'm sure everyone will enjoy your depths of knowledge on the gaming world.

    Lets see, Why am I complaining about a game and why am I not playing a game that I like?  That's simple, maybe because there are no good games out?  Why else would I be criticizing a game, to judge it for my self and giving a reason for Aion lovers to contradict me and put in their two sense, but obviously people with half a brain would react by insulting me.  (By the way, read the rules of conduct, it helps for you people who will receive warnings). But really, why do you guys care that I criticize this game anyway? Would it change your view?  Obviously not, so then why care. 

    And for the question to referring why am I not a game maker: Haha, that's precious.  Making games isn't just about the idea, you can't get a job with just your imagination, programming is a complicated and relatively difficult deal that I have no care for, (I tried it, I made a relatively simple diablo game, I can do it, but it is so incredibly boring that it makes me sleep when I think about it).

     

    Granted I wasn't trained in game design but we did discuss it in a few classes during my animation degree and it's more than coding.  Unlike large scale motion pictures, games are created with a relatively small number of people.  Those people have to do more than just code, there is design of the environments/characters, keying of the animation, special effects, texturing and lighting... there is so much that goes into it and it is far from boring.  It is pretty difficult to get into, even with schooling, but if you applied yourself to it as much as you do your poor forum trolling attempts I'm sure you'd do just fine.  Once you have your foot in the door daily meetings about the progress of the game are great times to make suggestions and then BANG you may just have created the game YOU like.

     

    Back to the topic at hand.  I have seen some screenshot that look... well horrible.  However, I have seen others that look amazing.  Spent time watching game play video while killing time that amazes me... and most people I know. I don't want to get my hopes up too high for any game because 9 times out of 10 I get let down but this one looks to be the next best thing, for me.  Not for everyone apparently but I am looking forward to it and my fiancee is also looking forward to it and she stopped playing after EQ because everything else that's been out since she didn't like.

    If you don't want to play it... don't play it.  If you want something to be exactly like you want then I say go out and make your own game.  Blizzard (with an A) can do whatever they want to their own game even if you don't like it. 

     

    Unless I've been gone from the game too long and things have changed I'm pretty sure you can still PvP outside in the world... If enough people wanted world PvP Blizzard would not have to do anything at all... the PLAYERS would have to just go out and do it.

    You left out a choice... I only play for 30 seconds a week so I can't pointlessly vote for you sorry.

     

    Also as far as I'm concerned good job Funcom for being a company who's bottom line is to make money and being successful.  I had no interest in this game from the moment it was announce but there was a beta just like every other game yes?  and people posted comments about the beta yes?  and you still ran out and bought it instead of waiting to see if it was worth it right?  People should know by now that all companies do is try to make money... all anyone does is try and make money... so they aren't looking out for anyone but themselves.
