I'd have to in part agree with you. I may vote for Obama still. DC is so screwed up now he will either make it better or burn it to the ground. Either way it's a win win in my book.
To each is own, I think they are fine.
UO followed closely by Ryzom. Eve just wasn't my taste but it was also a good sandbox game.
Something else that needs to be re-evaluated is rewarding people for dedication instead of their lack of responsibilities. UO you were rewarded for your dedication, WoW you are rewarded for you lack of responsibilities.
Bring back character development over omfg must raid for gear.

Well yes, this is my point. However, you obviously cannot display infinity but still, I feel that developers can do more to make the journey to the top more memorable.
I think the journey would be more appealing if there was more variety. Level base games don't have a lot of variety you are only striving for that next level. If they were to go back to a skill base game or a level skill base combo I think the journey would be much more fun. You would have a lot more dings to look forward to.
