  • I wish people would stop saying you can buy the cards! You cant buy or purchase the cards you can only rent or lease them. I can go out and buy SWG but I have to buy a sub to lease the content!

  • Here is a question! When you purchase TCG cards do you lease the cards or do you own the cards?  I know by paying 15 dollars a month to play SWG you are leasing your characters and you dont own them.

    If you own the cards then you should be able to do whatever you want with them if you choose! Like selling them on ebay etc.

  • Lets take a look at another card as well! This one is called the Muur Talisman 200 constitution,stamina,strength,precision for 3 minutes. The cooldown timer on this one is also 1 hour and players still want to call this fluff lol! Please keep spinning this one and the other ones that will also come that will affect combat as well!

    Im sorry but your totally wrong there are loot cards that you get that will affect gameplay. I just pulled the gorax card and its a plus 200 constitution and 200 luck for 3 minutes! The free 5 packs of cards are not free as I recall you have to have a subscription to play the game thats not free.
     

    You can spin this however you want to but the older players understand this is not free and its a added fee put onto a monthly fee and will affect the core game. Feel free to spin it like you want the older generation Star wars fans are not buying it!

    There is no additional fee associated with the card game, my $14.99 a month for an account has not increased. The gorax shard is no different than the one you can get from musty.
     

    And for the record I am an "older player" in every sense of the phrase, I have played since launch day and I am 47 years old. The card game is totally free to any person who has a active SWG account, please tell me where they are getting any additional money from this unless the player wants to buy cards.

     

    If its free then I should be able to play it with no sub! Its not free if I have to pay for a subscription to even play! As for the gorax shard and the gorax card they work on seprate timers since they are 2 seprate items. There are other cards as well that affect combat class's for buffs. This was one that I personally know of that I have seen myself. If need be ill give a list of items that are with the first set of cards that change combat.
     

    And for the record you were 21 years old when the first Star Wars movie came out. Not at all knocking you for enjoying or being a fan of Star Wars at all here.

    You asked were are they getting additonal money from this? There are cards out there that work on seprate timers that you can obtain making players have more of a advantage then players who dont have these cards.  How many players out there do you really think there is that WANT to buy cards? Now ask this question how many players out there want to be the best at the game they play and have a equall playing field? I think the second question above you will see outweigh's the first in numbers!

    Players have been told time and time again one of the reason's we got the NGE was it was easier to balance 9 prof instead of 32 prof! Again this card game gives unbalance to the game that never had any balance at all even with 9 prof! SOE wants us to pay actuall money to try to balance proffessions. If we pay no telling how much we can be better combat players then the ones who dont.

    This is just a small start of it all. Will there be more cards that bring unbalance to the profession's? You bet!! Are all the cards just fluff? In no way there are some of them are yes but not all of them they do change combat. Just like before the TCG game was released the fanboys said that this was not going to affect our current developers for SWG. When it was placed on our servers it affected the game and it still does to this day! We have more crashes and more problems that our current Dev team is working on due to this TCG game.

    Just beacause it sounds right in your head does not mean it sounds right in other's! Ill say this again you can try to spin it however you want to but bottom line is the cards are not all Fluff and there will be more that will change combat characters in the future. Im not into a game that I have played 5 years to be changed to pay as I go and monthly fees. If the cards were actually all fluff like you stated they were then thats fine there would be no complaints but there not and more will be coming soon!

    PS my second language is english so there might be some mistakes in my typing im sorry for that working hard to get better at it!!
