    No, you don't need to accept this, Mythic stated that they have a 0 tolerance for this kind of thing and that they have a crack team of people doing something about it. Oh yea? A crack team that takes 2 days to reply and in some cases I still haven't recieved a reply in over a week yet the gold spam is steady AND the ignore system doesn't block them???

    This is annoying, I don't accept it, I never see gold spam in City of Villians, I never see it in wow due to mods.

    So you can do something about it.... Cancel your account. Play something less buggy and without gold spam loopholes with smoother gameplay such as WoW or CoV.

    1. You have apparently not played an MMORPG at launch before.  Having bugs is just part of the launch process.  However, I've seen Mythic do a fairly good job at fixing the bugs in this game so far.  That includes your comment about the ignore feature not working (they just patched that).
    2. No gold spam in CoV?  I never got gold spam tells... but I frequently got gold spam in game mail messages when I played (over a month ago).  Therefore, I highly suspect you're lying about that one.
    3. Yay for you that you stated that you get no gold spam in WoW.  However, you specifically state that "due to mods."  Umm... doesn't that show that not even the almighty powerful Blizzard can't do anything about gold spammers without outside help?  Therefore, your point is moot.
    4. Face it... you mention CoV and WoW like they're in the same league as WAR.  WAR = PvP centric.  CoV and WoW = PvE centric (despite that Blizz is currently trying to focus on PvP stuff, it is still built as a PvE game).

    WAR has been out for a little over two weeks officially.  Therefore, it is still under launch phase.  Thus, bugs will still be prevalent.  However, Mythic has shown anyone who has an sincere interest in this game that they are working on fixing those bugs and problems.  That includes beating down gold spammers.

    The funny things is.. someone made a list of the things that Warhammer does better than WOW.

    1. coloring armor ( Done in UO)  False!  In UO you could only color clothing, not the armor itself with dyes (you could get colored armor though).  DAoC brought fully colored armor through dyes.
    2. Public quests ( Done in UO)  Somewhat true... but only when the devs still cared about the players to actually implement the special monthly critter hordes.  Still, there were no true thing to accomplish, thus they couldn't be considered quests.
    3. Queueing for BGs from anywhere

    So really, 2 of the 3 things that are better in War than WOW are things Ultima Online has already been doing.

    Now let me ask you this?   If a game did something better than Warhammer, would you tell the devs of warhammer not to add it because "oh well, they did it first, I quess we don't get it".

    There is a reason Warhammer servers are med/low and why box sales are plummeting.  It brings nothing worthwhile except for a dumbed-down siege system from its other game,  I mean how can you have controllable seige weapons in a 6 year old game and not include them in your new game.  boring.  You have no proof of any of this.  A lot of servers are high/full for one or both sides during prime time.  Show us proof that "box sales are plummeting"... oh wait, I'm betting that you have none.  Therefore, till you put up actual *proof* to support your anti-WAR rants, please GTFO of this forum.

    It's been 8 days since the CE headstart though.

    1. OP never stated that he was in the CE headstart program.
    2. CE headstart program is not when the servers officially opened to the public.
    3. The OP clearly states that "it hasn't even been out a week" when complaining about servers being down.  Yet, claims that this is a week's worth of review in the thread title.  That is a discrepancy, which makes me question the validity and reliability of this review all the more.
