I'm sure this question has been asked a lot, but I couldn't find a sticky for it. I just have the original city of heroes. Can I access all the villian content without buying City of Villains?

I also played this game in the past. I just checked on it again with the "re-launch" and they no longer have a subscription fee. They've gone with one of those publishers that has lots of free to play mmos where you pay real cash to buy in-game stuff. Now you can buy 'tribute' in game, which I guess gives you some bonuses, and you can earn for free in game at a slower rate. I don't know much about it - just reinstalling now. But it's free to play now, so that's a plus.

Just wanted to give people a heads up that the Champions Guru website went up a few weeks ago, and now we're getting it pumped up. It's got a complete collection of all the publishes news about the game, and as a Forum Overseer there, I'm getting the word out that are forums are open for every type of fan. There's already some long back stories for characters-to-be, and a place for artwork, game wishlists, etc.
So that ends my plug. It's just a fun place to rant about how you want the game to get here and what you love about comics or whatever. Feel free to stop by and introduce yourself and have a good time. .
