IF YOU DON'T LIKE TO RAID, THEN WHY ARE YOU PLAYING MMORPG'S???? TAKE YOUR COMPLAINT'S AND GO PLAY SOMETHING ELSE.
RAIDING IS WHAT DEFINE'S MMO'S THE GOOD MMORPG'S WILL ALWAYS HAVE RAIDING AS IT'S A MAJOR PART OF THE GAME. MMO'S WITH ABSOLUTELY NO RAIDING WILL ALWAYS BE CONSIDERED AS A LESSER MMO. YOUR WELCOME TO PLAY THOSE GAMES.
Its already been said that this is false but I will add that it does depend on the TYPE of MMO... I play story MMO or a "real" RPG online game and have a blast.. pretty social, less "jerks" and a multi-growth environment.
Mabinogi is hella fun with a HUGGEEEE crafting system and lets u know why its labeled a fantastyLIFE.
I guess I've done different types of raids, from a CTF type to Dungeon types in MMOs but I never looked at it as a big part of ah MMO... i always thought Content and Story would be more improtant, content being (Crafting, Quest/StoryLine, Good Fighting System PvPvE, etc..)
Anyway, Im sure the future of gaming and Online Gaming will change a great deal and hopefully for the better.
No more grinders/raid games.. they suck in the long run. which is maybe 2~3 months, 6 if ur lucky.
Aside from questing, what do you spend most of your time doing in-game?
