Tbh, I am alt tabbing in and out all the time and never have any issues. My biggest problem is random system restart but I am pritty sure it is my MOBO overheating :-(
PQ - public quests.
In response to OP: Under your char meter in top right hand cordner there is a 'group' button. If you click on it it will show PQ groups. All PQs have at least one group and it is considered public i.e. anyone can join or leave at any time.

Lets see so whenever you want to see if the WT is in the system you have to check every station, then you have to drop probes and scan for them; and you are not even sure if people who you are looking for are there at all. It will take better part of an hour especially in the large system to determine if there is a war target in a system or not.
If anything it will hurt the PvP because no one will ever be able to find anyone aside from random run ins at the gates nothing will ever happen.
Empyrian Age (spelling) is not as far as you think. It is planed for release this summer.
