• • Will you play on a CE designated server?

  • I voted SE code on an SE server but a non headstart server would be find with me too.

     

    What I wont play on is a CE headstart server, because I dont want to deal with all the CE cry babies that all the forums are swamp with their "waa waa waa Mystic are meanies!!!"

• • Is RvR pretty much like WoW PvP server with battlegrounds?

  • First off WoW does not have RvR it has PvP, there is a difference.

    One difference between WAR and WoW is to imagine AV as how world PvP is done, and not as one battleground.  The whole focus of WAR is open world PvP.  But it has scenories (BGs) but its not the main focus, just fun additions to RvR.

    Second all the conflict between realm contributes to the RvR contest.  Meaning everything you do in PvP, PvE etc... contruibutes to your realm gain control of terrories.  In WoW the PvP has no focus except to grind for gear.  In WAR the focus to beat back the enemy to end in you seiging their city.  To take their keeps, to smash them before you and hear the wailing and lementations of their women folk.

    RvR is hard to describe, it's best experienced.  But WAR is so much more then just BGs,  everything you do is RvR.  It is so much better than WoW PvP in everyway.

    I, personally, am very pleased with WAR.

    Slot identification 101

    PCI slot:  white slot about 3 inches long

    PCIe slot: short black slot, about an inch long

    PCIe-x16 slot: long black slot with a cradle at the end.  about 4 or 5 inch long.

    AGP slot: looks like a white PCI slot but brown.

     

    The good thing is they are all labled on the motherboard in teeny tiny letters next to the slots.
