    Speak for yourself.  I never bought it.  Looked like fail to me from the start.  Same with Darkfall.  It's pure fail but there are those who will blow their cash and learn the hard way.

    DAOC is not new or does it have the populations it once had to make it as fun as it use to be. Years ago, . This game is new and yes it does have great siege combat.

    To UnoShot: I wasn't bagging on Mythic. I'm stating that the Siege will be very buggy for Darkfall, since they're a first-time MMO developer.

     

    To Tyres100: Anyone that has a neutral opinion of Darkfall's condition is not trolling. Did I say this game was Vaporware? No.

    This critique is targetting your perception. You do not KNOW it will have great siege combat. You EXPECT it to have great siege combat. And you know it will HAVE siege combat. But that does not dictate that it WILL have great siege combat.

     

    STOP YOURSELF!

     

    No that guy was trolling. You said great siege combat and he responded to you with an open ended statement that was directed to another games siege combat as pertaining to it being better. He was trying to get people to start the DAOC is better siege then darkfall. Which is baiting people, aka trolling.

     

    He didn't just say "Great... siege combat".  Read the rest of his original post.  First learn to read, learn reading comprehension, get your facts together, and recognize that the phrase "Stop Trolling" is trolling in the highest degree.

  • I used to like AC, it was once a great game.  Its subpar by todays standards but I will say that it probably is still a much better game than what I have been able to take from this new DF video.

  • Disgraceful.  I saw a few characters running around (rather pathetically) beating each other.  A bunch of ships in a cluster f*** shooting a kazillion cannons at each other.  More characters running around, more ships, a mount or 5, more ships, more characters still running around half animated, some kind of car thingy, an eyes blink worth of what I think was crafting, another eyes blink of another piece of UI. 

    They didn't show anything of how YOU play the game, only how THEY played it for you to view.

    This is 2008 folks, not 1998.  Demand more for your money, not less.  If you settle for this as  a next generation mmo (says it right on their website), then sadly, you will fall for anything at all.
